I enjoy reading thrillers, mysteries and horror books more than any other type of fiction book.
However, I do read contemporary literature.
How about you?
Do you prefer to read mysteries, science-fiction books, fantasy novels, historical fiction, etc., etc.?
I look forward to your responses.

Yup, it's the same with me - crime & murder mysteries, horror and thrillers. Though not all , there are certain authors that I prefer like Jeffrey Deaver, Anne Perry, Ruth Rendell, Ed McBain, Lawrence Sanders and a few others. I also like reading historical fiction (crime/detective type, not romance).

I tend to like romances such as Sense & Sensibility, Pride & Prejudice, etc. I do read horror from time to time but it has to be something with an incredible story line. Currently I'm reading a piece of horror called The Calling.

I generally like science fiction, but I also like Christian fiction (especially those with a lot of allegory) and Westerns. I don't usually like mysteries, except for Tony Hillerman.

i enjoy reading those that are romantic, or those that have a good twist/ or mystery (Dan brown's), anything that is connected with histories and governments of countries because even if the storyline is fictional, you still learn something from the history intertwined with the book,..i also love reading fiction books that teach you something about life, and also fables (like the little prince)
