I was scared to drink it, but I let the water run for a little while, I never have seen my water to that. So I put it in the Micowave and let it get very hot. Then I went on and drank me some Hot chocolate. does your water do this? Now I usually get store brought water but I ran out. Have a good day!

The water probably had air bubbles in it. I drink tap water all he time, you live in a city with treated water I am sure it was fine.

Uusually when I get bubbles in my water it's because there's air in the water line, or because it's coming out of the tap fast enough to aerate it. It doesn't necessarily mean there's something bad with it. Not positive, but I'm thinking you have city water? I have well water. Maybe the landlord has had work done and the water pressure is increased (which isn't a bad thing) and now the water is just flowing out faster. I go by this rule of thumb with my water, if it's coming out in a fast steady stream (with bubbles in it) then my water pressure is good. If it's coming out in spurts, and not a steady flow, then there's most likely air in the lines. Either way I have bubbles from air in the water. If you didn't have bubbles in it before, then it's probably because the water pressure coming through the lines was low. (Just going by how my water system works lol)

My water always has bubbles in it when it comes from the tap. I can't explain it and I'm not afraid to drink it, as I think they're only oxygen bubbles. At least you enjoyed your cup of hot chocolate, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

It could be something as simple as the little screen or filter at the end of the tap is clogged. Or there could be air in your pipes. My city flushes the water main in town periodically and on those days, we are told to let the water run for a few minutes before using it. Sometimes I get bubbles at that time. If you have city water and it goes thru a filtration process somewhere, then I wouldn't worry about it. If you have questions, call the city.
