School district mistakenly sells trailer for $1

It seems that a school wanted to sell some portable building and put them up for sale on E Bay. They made a goof and the trailer sold for $1. Oops. They tried to get out of the sale because the price was a mistake, but couldn't. They had to stand by the sale. They did pull the remaining unsold trailers from the site. I would have loved to pick up a trailer for only $1. What a deal.

Wow, too bad for the school. But lucky for the person who got the trailer. You see it happen sometimes missing decimals and all that. I heard of someone who got a plane ticket for less than $10 that way, the decimal was in the wrong place. Mistakes happen and sometimes other people benefit from it.

That is interesting that nobody else wanted the trailers. It would seem to me unless you were local and could pick it up in person the shipping costs would be astronomical.

For $1 you could spend a bit on shipping and still get it for a really great price.

Wow, I cannot believe that someone would be put in charge of a sale like this without a background with selling for ebay. I really do not think the site is that confusing that you could make such a large error. I suppose the person who made the mistake might be looking for a new job at this point.

They should have been more careful who they had selling it. Whoever did that must be in big trouble right now.

Well now, that was a huge human error. I would have hated to have been the one who done that. But like you, I would have loved to have been the one who purchased it for that price. I could use a cozy little trailer to live in about now. My lease is expiring at the end of March.
