We got my daughter a kitten for christmas. It is entertaining to watch this kitten leap all over the house and swat the dog's tail. She likes to bug me while I'm on the computer by chasing my mouse on the screen. It can be annoying, but mostly it's just funny. Our other cat and her haven't made friends yet, but I am sure that will happen in time. Have you ever brought a new pet home and then wondered if it would "fit in" with the other pets you already have?

My partner brought me a kitten just before Christmas as a early present. I wasn't worried about my male cat getting on with her as he does not care and gets on with all animals. It was my female cat and my dog I was worried about. As my cat can be very moody at times, but they seem to tolerate each other and will even have times when they play together. As for my dog the kitten tolerates him as long as it is on her terms she is happy to have him around her. My dog loves all the cats and is very protective of them.

I have a pet rabbit named Bun-Bun. I was worried when I moved in with my old room-mate, who owned a cat. Although I knew the cat was a wimp, I worried that he might accidentally remember that he was a cat and try to eat the rabbit. The rabbit quickly asserted dominance, though, and peace reigned in the kingdom. Courtesy of Queen Bun, of course.

I totally think that your cat just needs a little bit, then it will. I congratulate you for the new member. Btw, i wish my cat would chase the mouse, he's also always in my face.
