Have you ever felt that you are imprisoned in the invisible warp called TIME?

Have you ever felt like extricating yourself out of this trap which governs you constantly without your permission?Does it make you uncomfortable that you are not having any control over it?
We always think that we are living in the present which becomes the past every microsecond and we step into the future with the same speed. Is there anything really known as the present? Isn’t it weird?

There is such a thing as present...yes... but this present we must all note and remember is very, very brief. It will soon pass and will become yesterday. We must also remember that tomorrow is not so far away. It will soon become the present and will later become yesterday. That is how time goes.... very, very, swift and hence must not be wasted. Time is a precious commodity. We can't buy it but we have it for free..however it is but limited and hence we must make the most out of it. We need not waste, we need not lose because once its gone it is forever lost and we can't regain anymore.

To me there is always present. It's what is happening right now at this moment. And like you said time is always moving, but we are always in the present. It is what you are doing at this time, what you are thinking at this time, what you are talking about. If all you do is wonder about what you are going to do in the future or what you have done in the past then it is hard to live the present because in the present your just wondering. People get themselves in trouble when they don't pay attention to what is going on right now around them (present) It's how you lose family or loved ones. You think they just slipt away from you, but really it was happening the whole time you just didn't notice it because you were thinking about the future or the past.
Don't know if this makes any sense. It is easier to think than to explain.

I think if you manage and use your time to control your enjoyment of your life path, then you don't feel trapped, in a sense. I know time goes on, but we can't see it, other than in the dawning of a new day and nightfall. What is time, anyway? It's just something that was calculated by the ancients, in order to compile a calendar and organise their farming schedules, I would say!
Sorry to blind you with science my friend, and thank you for such an interesting discussion.
Brightest Blessings.

I have 4 years before I can receive retirement money. I feel really, really stuck because I'm having a rough time making money now. I just want to pay my bills, but I feel like I won't be able to make it. I wish I could just time warp ahead and be there.

It is a truth, time can’t wait for us, it is running very fast and we have to make efforts to go with the time. I agree with you, the duration of present is very short and in every second present is leaving the path for future. So time is really valuable, once we lost we don’t get it back. Let us think, how to utilize the time with minimum wastage.

Yep, it is very much so weird.
I have sometimes been too much aware of the time and other occasions I dont notice it at all. I read somewhere that the actual time as in the numbers of time was just invented to keep human thinking at peace. It gives a measure into the day and thus quantifies what most people can do within that set time frame.
Time is actually nonexistent since everything in the world..in this universe...is a cycle.

Bala . You seem to be in an extremely philosphical state of mind.
Does time move or we move ? The present is where your conciousness lies. You subsonciousness and if you get to the stage of true awakening will truly redefine the concept of time.
Hope i'm confusing you more on this ?

you are right, there are many things which are confusing and donot have answers, the grass is greener on the other side.but to come to think of it ,i think we are better off now than the cannibals era(now also, there are few to be found, but they are far and few)

Since it is the way of life I don't think much about all this Bala. Of course, occasionally the thought would creep in saying how quickly timeis flying and how I have reached my present age[in fact today afternoon I suddenly thought in these lines] , but just for a moment. That is how it goes .My grandparents, parents now me etc..,-I just thought for a moment , that is all.
Of course there is something as the present-the past is over , the future is uncertain and this moment is present.

Time is strage and its goes too fast as you get older and the only way you can stop time is in the photograph.
