I've seen a mylot newbie spamming this forum some weeks ago, and the day afterward I see that the person posts has been deleted and certainly that person has been banned from mylot. Recently I saw a similar username to that banned member and when I check that person profile, I have no doubt that was the same person. But somehow, I think that person already learn from his/her mistake and make a post according to Mylot rules. I wonder what other myloters think about this; When a banned member from mylot register again, but on the second time that person are not violating the TOS and rules again, is that person deserve a second chance? What's your opinion on this guys?

Well it all depends. Because people change over time and get more mature and if they think there more mature and promise they wont be a trouble maker then why not give them a second chance. You can always ban them if they screw up agian and never let them come back.

Thanks for responding Arcidy, yeah that second chance is good for last chance on the site. It will be not good to give 3rd chance, 4th and so on, as it can be concluded that the person is always ignoring the rules.

I think that the person deserves another chance. I am a member of other forums, and many of those sites ban people a month or two and after that they are allowed to return. If those members keep breaking the rules and then they can get banned forever. But I don't think that a permanent ban is fair if it is the first time that someone breaks the rules. If you are a new member it is easy to break some of the rules. Even though we have read the rules we might not remember all of them straight away, and I think that everyone deserves some patience and tolerance when they are new. I think there is big difference between a member with 2 posts who posts a referral link and a member with 2000 posts who does the same. In my opinion the member with 2000 posts ought to know better, but the member with 2 posts might not realize that (s)he is doing something wrong.

I'm completely agree with you Porscospino, a second chance is deserve as newbie sometimes don't read all the TOS thoroughly. But a member whom keep breaking the rules over and over again should be banned forever, as they are not learning from their mistakes and keep abusing the site.

I think mylot gives ample chances to the banned members. I can remember when I was banned from mylot. I was staring some discussions to check if mylot does something against it. I star something around 5-6 discussion which were against the rules and regulations. Everytime the discussion got deleted but one day I found that my account was banned. It was after a month when i started that activity. Yes, I was annoyed with it but later on I understood that I did wrong thing and got penalized. Now, I am a little concious about TOI and guidelines on mylot!

i do think that those that are banned from mylot deserves a second chance. my point of view doesn't really follow the guidelines that are stated here in mylot and i think that those that are banned had made violations for being unaware from all those guidelines. maybe they didn't read all the term and conditions just like what i did hehe

Thanks for sharing Rymebristol, Sometimes new member didn't realize that they have made an abuse to the site the join, simply because they don't read the TOS. Mylot TOS are very strict and quite comprehensive, and newbie sometimes find it too complicated. They just want to jump start the post and made an earnings.

nah they should be banned no second chances, or at least get suspended for 30 days or so that might be a better option. at the end of the day they should read the t and c's (I know not many people do).

I agree that being suspended for 30 days is a good option instead of getting banned, those newbie whose not read the TOS should have a second chance after the 30 days period.

i'd say yes for a second chance. but third? fourth? a hundredth? No!! and it really depends you know, it could be that the mylotter isn't even aware of what he/she has done wrong.

Yeah Kquiming, assuming that the person is a newbie and maybe unaware of the TOS and rules here, I think second chance is deserve to be granted.
