Do you add a friend in mylot because you are attracted to him or her?

I can say that majority of mylotters are so smart and intelligent. Indeed I respect them all. There are times that I read some discussion of them that makes me admire them. It's because they have great ideas and their choice of words in responding are so creative.From the way they respond, you can say that they are amazing people. And that's what contributes here in mylot.I am sure this site is proud having mylotter which is undeniably excellent in writing.Whenever I notice that they have life similar to me or there is something in us which is common, that makes me to want him or her to send a friend request.I add friends because I am somehow attracted to him or her.I also add him or her when I notice that he or she is kind and very approachable to other mylotters also.
How about you? What are the reasons why you add certain mylot member in your account? Happy mylotting to all!

Hello annierose! It's been a long time since I requested friend requests here. Mostly, I just waited for the requests of the members and accept them all. I have no pending friend requests yet.
Maybe when I was new here, I added those members whom I admire with not their avatar but through their words. Because of my being picky, I have some still pending requests because maybe the person that I added didn't accept my requests or denied me. But it's ok. Maybe that person is not active anymore.

When I was new here also, I am so busy participating and starting my own discussion. My only friends here are the one who referred me on this site and my other referrals also. I am just accepting friend request of anyone who wants me to be their friend. Later on, I found out how to send friend request and then do it.

I kind'a follow your decription on adding new friends here in myLot. I would really like to add friends who are indeed, friendly. Often times, I am also amazed on their proficiency on responding as well as their creative ability on enabling us to see more than what discussions mostly provide.
Then again, I mostly accept anyone's friend invite as I always think that we are all capable of doing that, even if some of them don't use english as their second language. At any rate, it is rare for me to add someone as it is takes time for me to determine if someone here is indeed friendly or just really accommodating (^_^ )

I always admire good writing, so when I read a response or discussion that is beautifully expressed I add him/her as a friend - no matter how his/her avatar looked like. I know that writing comes from the heart and whatever the thoughts and ideas of the writer usually comes out of his/her words, and this is where genuine beauty lies - in the inside- within the soul. I don't think it's called attraction for me. I just add people who I think are interesting, but i have to admit this was not the first idea that came to mind. I was looking for pictures too. Of course, it is but natural to appreciate the beauty of others, be it their physical appearance or their minds.
But mylotting is different, the more friends you have, the more chances that your discussions will be responded to. A lot of myLotters might feel the same way.
So, to answer your question, it is a no for me.

I just figured out recently how to add friends here at mylot.
I really like to add friends with attractive pictures, if you
are in Yuwie, you'll know what I mean but I don't reject friend
requests.

I have only added members that I have participated in discussions with, I don't really pay attention to what they look like, or if they even have a profile pic. I only pay attention to whether or not we could communicate.

Hi, annierose. At first I thought that you were saying attracted as in love with, or having a crush on another.. But, I do admire others. I like what they say to my discussions or to another persons discussions. That would be the only reason. I think that they are nice and kind and understanding. I believe that we can relate on many issues and they can feel me on many things. That what makes me add them as a friend.

I don't usually send out friend requests though. But there are times that when I read a person's comment and I find it interesting and good, I add that person as a friend hoping that I would learn more from him or her. Looks don't really matter here.

I add someone as a friend because i like to have friends like them because of their unique quality. In quality i point out theier avtaar, discussion, content in response and interest area. I love to here not only for money but for good and mature or sometime funny discussions. Happy Mylotting!

Well i guess most of the friends i have here on Mylot were not my first degree friends. I have been a Mylot user since four weeks now, and i can say that i don't select which friend to choose from, and which is not.
Some users here add me as their friend even if they are newbie and posted only 1 or less than ten, i don't mind, i will add them to my Mylot friends.
Some will add me here like the old time veterans and i am also glad to accept them as i accepted the newbies. For me, i will add them all without any bias. Happy Mylotting!

Well I send request to some interesting people who may be friendly and helpful.
Well I add friends whoever requests me because this is a site and I am here to earn money basically.
So these friends are different from other friends but some of them who are really good friends here can remain good over here too.
Even this site is good for networking, making good friends.

It seems you are a good person too having written like this.Well in most of the cases we make friends because we want to talk to the person or like his/her company.we like to communicate with them.If for our advantage we make a person who later we might find unsuitable,our friend,then that relationship won't last.attraction of course is the key for a relationship,but for lasting a relationship its trust and commitment which is necessary.
but by and large I think that you a worthy person to make friend.

Pretty no reasons at all. Oh well, anyone can be my friend here in myLot. I've tried adding maybe two or three here and maybe the reason why I added them because the topics they have started are interesting and they gave me good advice on the topics i've started.

I just receive requests. Altho I choose on how intelligent they look and their interests. Also if they are a bit 'geeky' maybe I could then learn something from them.

I do like to add intelligent friends also. As for me, I can say that almost every mylot member seems to be intelligent.
