On march 8th,you all have put your clocks one hour ahead. Actually,I do not know the logic behind it. Anyway, are you happy now or when the the clock is reversed back by one hour? Please give your reasons and experiences to the change of time. Happy mylotting

Hey...muru1950...I am a little non-plussed that you did not include you Canadian friends in your discussion...do you think that we are so far behind the times, that we will never catch up? LOL! Just so you know, your Canuck myLotters do the same thing...and South America changed more than a week ago! Makes nary a "gnat" of difference to me...the daylight in the morning, or the daylight at nite! In Canada, it was originally changed so that Farmers had the extra time at nite to plant/harvest, as crops needed the daylight warmth to dry off! Have a great one!

Hi pergammano I was of the opinion that only in U.S.the time change is done. Now only I understand that Canada,South America also do change the time. Thank you for your information. Happy mylotting

Thank you, Thank you, my friend for the best response! I was just having a bit of fun with you...but yes, we make the change too! I should research, I am wondering if the European nations change as well....maybe someone could chime in here and let us know! I just dislike that it is still dark when I go to work in the mornings! Mornings are the part of the day that I love best! Cheers & Thank you!

I have nothing to do with changing of time.Time is endless. There are no hours. We can't limit the time.It can't be decreased or increased.Time will pass in it's own way.How can we utilise the time tha's the factor.

I am in the US and to correct you if I may... we spring forward --time goes from 2 am to 3 am--so we lose an hour which puts the sun up longer during the day ... it was done after world war I and I believe it was done for the farmers... something to do with the crops for the summer ...and then in the fall time around Oct/Nov we fall back and then we gain the hour --2am to 1am-- so then it gets darker out earlier... I dont know the technical reason for it, but it is the only thing I have ever known...LOL happy mylotting.

I was told it was for energy conservation after World War I. However, there are some states that don't do it, like Arizona. Personally, I hate the Spring Daylight Savings! Losing that hour always throws me off. I like gaining an hour in the Fall, but I would get rid of that to get rid of Spring. Don't deprive me of my sleep! I do enjoy having the light out later, though.
