When I was little my parents wished I'd marry someone who had finished college and is hard working. I didn't. I finished college but fell in love with someone who did not but he is super hard working and a good provider. I help him out with his business. He brings me some paperworks from his office and so I work here at home. I sometimes wonder what if I didn't finish college and he did? Would it make a difference? Would you marry someone who has lower education than you?

I don't think education is a barrier when two people are really in loved w/ each other. Although it's quite advantage being of the same level I guess what matters most is the compatabnility and love for each other. My husband has a lower educational attainment than I do as he didn't finished college but he has nicer job than I do and even knows a lot than me.....well, this is his country tho (USA) and he has more rights and advantage than me.

This question asked to a girl will have a proper response. Anyhow being a boy, i would say i would rather not mind marrying a girl who is less educated then me. There wont be any ego problems between us. I also dont mind marrying a girl who is more educated then me, but she should me earning less or something equal to me, but not more then me. Be practical guys. Again the same reason no ego problems and happy married life.

If the opposite is intelligent and smart enough to cope up with my standing education should not come as a barrier. She could be a bit lower in educational qualification but if she is good at heart I have no problem.

i don't consider it relevant. there are a lot of successful enterpreneurs who have not had proper education, and there are a lot of degree-holders who have become a menace to society. it is how a man deals with life to which he should be judged, and not his degree.
