I am 26 years old and never been to any Disney theme parks. I was just wondering if any of you have been to one. If you have what were your favorite parks? What were your favorite rides/attractions? Feel free to post anything else about your experiences at a Disney Theme Park.

I'm 27, and went to Disney Land / Disney World (lol whichever one's in Florida) for the first time this past summer. Have to say, wan't too impressed. Couldn't shake the "That's it?" feeling, and I'm glad my parents didn't take me as a kid. The people are rude, for the most part, and everything is meant for kids, lol obviously, I guess, and the line-ups are 40 minutes+ for a 30 second ride. I did like the Tower of Terrors, though. That was kind of cool. Trippy even lol. I'd recommend going to Universal, though. That was a good time. I'd recommend getting their express pass, though, and going for a 2 day ticket. Also, if you're in the area, there's a million places offering discount tickets if you sit in on a Time Share offer or something. I'd avoid the places selling used tickets with days left, though, cause they use your fingerprints with your tickets.

I've heard a lot of people say Tower of Terrors is fun. I heard that there is a lot of stuff that is also enjoyable for older people, but maybe that's more the stuff at Universal or one of the other parks. I I think the long lines would get really annoying. That would suck if someone bought used tickets and then couldn't actually use them cause of fingerprinting. That would suck.

Oh. It's an extra $30 or so per person per day, but if you can get one fo those express passes (both Disney and Universal have them) it's really worth it. You can generally just walk up straight to the ride and be back within a couple of minutes. A few rides don't have the express, though, but most do. lol But with that in mind, I'd still much rather go to Universal... but that's just me.

When I went around the world at age 20 I visited Disneyland in California. I was staying at the youth hostel in Santa Monica and I went there in a minibus transfer. I loved seeing the tree house belonging to the Swiss Family Robinson. I really enjoyed going on the Little Runaway Train. It was delightful fun to go on the ET ride. The fairy tale castle looked amazing. I had a wonderful time there and it would be lovely in about three to five years time to take my children there.

The Swiss Family Robinson tree house looked cool in pictures I've seen; does seem like it would be fun. I think it's kind of hard to decide when is the right time to take kids to Disney for the first time. If you take them too young they won't remember, but yet you don't want to wait till they are too old. I'm sure your kids will love it as you did in a few years when they get to go!

I have been to both Disneyworld and Disneyland. I went to the one in California when I was in high school. My sister and I flew to California to visit our aunt and she took us there. It was really fun and a great experience. Since I have had children, we have been to the one in Florida many times. Just last year we went to Magic Kingdom. It was such fun. My boys are teens and they pretty much went on their own while my husband and I took our 8 yr old daughter. With the use of cell phones, we were able to meet for lunch, the parade, and then for a couple of rides together.

It's good that you guys could split up so that each age group could enjoy things suited to them. It's good that cell phones can keep everyone in touch.

Yes I have. I have been to the Disneyland in LA, the states. And we have a Disneyland here in Hong Kong and I had been to that one as well *smiles*. The Hong Kong one is quite small compared to the one in LA. I like the one in LA a lot better because it's really like a fairy tale land there!

I have been to Disneyland in Paris. I went there with my parents and my brother, I don't remember exactly when we went there, but it was many years ago. My brother was not very old at the time, and he enjoyed our time in Disneyland very much. I also had a good time, I don't remember the rides or attractions in detail, but I liked being there and looking at it all. My brother was very impatient and he wanted to see everything and try everything, so my parents went to have a cup of coffee and let my brother and me walk around alone. We had fun, and I enjoyed watching my brother and his enthusiam. I was happy that he enjoyed it so much
