Well I chucked my last one in your direction and you didn't notice, so you're out of luck this time around! ROFL

Think of something creative to do while you're down there...............ROFL
Just don't tickle me or I'll fall on top of you and that might get more interesting that you're prepared for!

Hi p1ke!
I am so used to my posts going down that I am never sure whether I have really reached a particular milestone or not. I respond on so many new user discussions which I know will get the hammer that I just don't bother about keeping anything special (even if I had it) to celebrate.
I am just happy to see it increase slowly but surely amd have fun while doing so.

I chuck it just to get it done and over with...but i usually do try to find something worthwhile to responded to. Sometimes i get tired of the same ole discussions that require the same responses. I left here for awhile, hoping when i came back there would be more interesting discussions.

I hope that your sides get better soon. You have to be careful that they don't split. The only kind of spilt that I like is Banana. Although there is a little doughnutty cream and jam affair that they eat in Devon called, appropriately enough, a "Devonshire Split". They're quite scrummy, but dreadfully fattening especially if you eat more than one.

To excited about it to pay much attention to which discussion I responded to. I have reached many more 100th and 1000th posting and as I said I don't pay much attention to the discussions..

Rounding off to hundreds pretty much goes by unnoticed by me, but I AM approaching my 5000th post and now after reading your words, I have a decision to make! Shall I procrastinate over where to put this hallowed 5000th response and aim to move the masses with something special? Or shall I just reach for a "
" and whack it into someone's discussion at random with a blatant disregard for such a milestone?
In the perfect world, there would be a discussion posted by someone that was all about falling into a pit of honey coated naked Godesses and I would slot an extremely poignant 5000th response into that very discussion..... But then again, even if a discussion of this context WERE to arise at the time of my 5000th posting, I'd probably STILL reach for the "
" because it would pretty much sum up exactly what I'd wish to say about falling into a pit full of honey coated naked Godesses!
Wow! I believe I have all angles covered already.

Honey coated goddesses are all well and good, bit it can be a sticky situation. They all think that they are the bees knees and occasionally one will give you hives. However, we can live in hope that all will be well. I do believe that we are quite fortunate in that we are surrounded by goddesses here and for some fool reason, many of them seem to like us! LOL.

Hi p1ke, it doesn't really worry me when I reach a 100, 500 or 1000 if it is just a response to someone and not a discussion at least I have made the post to reach it...hugs littleowl

It doesn't matter, I just throw it anywhere. I don't really look at milestones like that anymore.

I just chuck it anywhere, lol! I never remember to look at how many posts I've done, so these milestones kind of pass me by.
It's an interesting idea though...

I don't pay that much attention to my numbers, so I probably just chuck it up somewhere and hope it doesn't come tumbling down on my head!*L*

Well I have over 1000 posts, so I've celebrated 100 posts and 1000 posts.
I don't chuck it to any discussion, but I don't chuck it away to a discussion that might be today's top, or "hot".
I make my milestone response to a discussion that I find interesting. I don't mind if the discussion is boring to others, but atleast it means something to me. :)

The first few month after I joined myLot I used to write down how many point I had and what my earnings were every night before signing off then every morning checking to see how many points and earnings I had lost. I also set daily goal for myself. I also watched how close I was to reaching 500 or 1000 points. However after seeing no rhyme or rhythm to the ups and downs. I stopped doing that and now never even look at my points.

....but your points ARE the number of responses you made!

Anywhere. Doesn't matter to me.
I remember it being a big deal to get to 100, then 500 was definitely anxiously anticipated, so you could copy and paste. A real time saver when you lose your first response to computer or connection glitches. I try to be in the habit of saving it somewhere else first....most times.

My dialup modem is supposed to have a pop up window that shows the name and number of someone calling, so I have the option to 'answer' or 'ignore'. But lately, neither button works, and I get disconnected. I haven't changed the options, so it won't show the number, because sometimes, if I do it just right, I can catch the call just as they are leaving a message. And at least I can scribble down wh it is, in case I don't.

Who is chuck?
Well seriously I usually don't even notice. It gets chucked wherever it gets chucked. Come to think of it, even if I did notice it would just get chucked wherever I happened to be.

Hi there pike. I think it depends on my mood. At my first 1000 i could hardly wait to get it done, but at my second 1000 (at 2000) i made a special post regarding it. I wonder what i will do at my 3000th post - or when will i reach it for that matter ;).
