Rent Movies or Buy Movies

I usually rent the movies that me and my husband watch. If it is a really good one, then I will buy it. But I usually buy the movies for my daughter because I know that she will watch then over and over again.

we usually rent them off of PPV and then record them onto our DVR =)

I do it the exact way you do Cortney. It makes sense. Kids will watch them more times. I rarely watch movies, but if I do, it's only once or twice. Wonder why I have watched Totally Blond about half-dozen times? I love that movie.

My hubby and daughter are the same way.. so it pays off to buy the good ones.. i am going to see about downloading now.

My husband & I usually rent movies. We usually don't have the money to buy them...but if it's really good, we'll splurge & buy it. :)

I'm pretty much the same. I will rent a movie first then if I really like it I will buy it. My kids will watch any kids movie so when I see them on sale I just buy them.

I'm that way too. I don't like wasting money on movies that aren't good at all. Rent first, buy it if you like it.

I usually check it out for free at the library. They have some really good titles, some of them fairly recent. Other than that, I rent. I only buy if it involves a favorite subject or it is instructional.

I don't usually rent or buy movies anymore. I used to be a member of Netflix so I would get a ton of movies, but I've since cancelled my subscription...

i buy movies i have over 200 movies and that is not including boxed sets! i don't pay very much for them it costs me about the same to buy a movie as it would for me to rent it!

I dont believe on buying movies. Whats the point to have one thing that we just use one or 2 times? Renting or downloading (if we want to have the movie forever instead of buying) the movie its better.
