stupid horror movie mistakes

What are the dumbest things that people do in horror movies? is it the classic their getting away from the antagonist and then trip over a log or something and break their leg and then try to crawl away? is it when they hear something in the basement and walk down there unarmed with a flashlight? (lol and they always say "hello" or "is there somebody down there" like their gunna get a response like "yep, I'm here to get you") or is it when someones in the house yet they run to higher ground leaving themselves totally unable to escape? Those are 3 of my favorite "dumb horror movie people" actions. Now my question to you fellow mylotters is what do you see or have you seen in a horror movie that made you want to just jump into the TV and slap the victim?

1) Many masks are funny rather than being scary. 2) When a place is experiencing mystery murders especially of all your friends , why still stay in the same hostel or house ? 3) These scary creatures almost always attack during a storm & yet are bone dry. 4) Why all these creatures wear long robes ?? 5) The creeps know all short cuts in a alien place. They seem to reach before the terrified & running victims & do not even pant. 6)Why nobody is thinking of shooting those ugly buffoons!!! 7) There is always a scary TV serial before the attack. I have more to write, but let first close the windows. a thunderstorm has started, the windows are flapping.oops the current just went off & there is scary background music too!!

lol I agree with everything you said but I was talking about mistakes that the people actually do in the movie not stuff that the director screwed up on, but all of those are very true.

My most hated thing is with people defending themselves (or not defending themselve's as the case may be). Now, I dunno about everyone else, but if there's a pysho killer who's murdering people in my neighbourhood, and he comes into my house to get me, and I manage to knock him out... I'm not just going to leave him there on the floor and run to another room to try and call the polie or something. There's no way on earth I'd let him have a chance to escape. If he's out cold on the floor... I'm gonna kill him. I'll grab a knife and start stabbing, or get something heavy and keep bashing his head in until there's nothing left. I would kill him. No hesitation. So that always bugs me in movies... because so often they'll injure the killer or knock him out... then they'll just leave him and run away. Screw that. Kick him while he's down.

When they start walking backwards. I have never seen anyone walk backwards in real life, and I do not think anyone would walk backwards in a strange dark place. Of course you always know they are going to walk backwards into the killer who grabs them. This also applies to other movies too. The bad guy is chasing them so they hide, get the drop on the bad guy by hitting him over the head with something. The bad guy/killer goes down and drops his weapon. The stupid person just turns around and runs away, and of course the bad guy/killer regains consciousness, picks his weapon back up and continues the chase. I have seen that so many times in movies. I would like to think if it was me I would at least grab the weapon, I hope I would tie the bad guy/killer up or stab or shoot him. Chase over.

I find the dumbest mistake is when the blonde bimbo just stands there screaming her head off and lets the killer or monster kill her. Not running, not trying to to find help or shelter just frozen in one spot.I think if it was me in this situation I would run I don't wear heels that are so high you can't run and my boobs are not dragging ground that I can hardly move. And the ones that don't fight back piss me off too.
