What percentage of people in the world's population actualy study the word of God,and study God's word in reference to world events and the coming of Christ. Are people making informed decisions? Or are they too busy and not reading it? Do you feel that the mass population has nort done enough research and studying individualy?

Hi eaforeman6! I really don't know what percentage of the world's population study the Word of God. Hopefully there are many. Most of us are caught in this busy world, having no time for other things except on how we can go after material things and success. So much time is spent in struggling to survive and in reaching our goals and we have taken for granted our spiritual needs. But who can really know what is in the hearts of all men and what they are doing in their private time. I would like to think that most men during their private time, they study the Word of God and talk to Him in their hearts.
Take care and blessings to you my friend!

I agree. Life is hurry up and rush so we can hurry up and rush some more....It gives people less time and it looks like it will be even less than it already was. Your points are well made. Appreciate the response.1 person likes this

Hi there friend! Thank you for the kind words. While understanding and respecting other people's priorities in life, I do hope that we could make the time to study the Word of God and keep them in our hearts while we still have the time here on earth. Just a thought!
Thanks for the BR!

There is a small percentage of Christians that have actually sat down and sttudied on their own the Word. Most just trust their pastor (or whatever they call their church leader) to tell them everything they need to know.
I am not sure if the issue is being too busy or being intimidated. The Bible is small in comparison to other books I have read but I have never read all of it because it is complex. It is possible to study on chapter for weeks, but it is also possible to read it all in a relativly short amount of time.
The problem is that it is a book that must be studied to be understood, and that is intimidating.

I agree with you. I think that you are right. It would be like asking how many people have read the bible. So, my point is, if you have not studied it, then how can so many say what they do or do not believe. I also wonder how can they look at the relevance of world events and say that God has nothing to do with it? Especialy if you have studied, how would anyone know?1 person likes this

That is a very valid question and line of thought.

I think that very few people in the world care about GOD and the Bible. The Bible to most people is just a book sitting upon a shelf. Most people are not really interested in learning anything, just watch their favorite shows on tv. Truth is not really something that they care about. They are more like ducks that just float on the water of life, drifting wherever it happens to take them every day.

When we speak in terms of the mass of the population, yes, you are right. There are not near as many studying the revelance as their should be. If they were and that meaning mass, Washington would be 100 percent different, and so would our society. The Bible speaks clearly to nations that disobey his word. These catastrophic events came into place from disobedience not obedience. Appreciate the response!1 person likes this

No, probably a mass minority study or read the Word of God. Even though polls say 80% of Americans are Christian, it is hard to believe all 80% read the bible on a daily or weekly basis. That is unless they all attend a bible study or read at home on their own.

I can't say for sure how many people or what percentage of those really study the word of God. I am sure that there are some die hard people that spend a lot of time studying the word and God himself.
I know that I was raised a Christian and have my beliefs. There have been some times in my life where I have had my doubts. They could just be tests for all I know. I wouldn't want to judge anyone or say that the mass population should be doing more research. I am not very religious myself but I do believe in a creator.
I am not sure I know where you are coming from when it comes to people making informed decisions.
There have been prophecies that some hold as truth and some hold as mere theory that the world is becoming a lot like what has been predicted through the word.
I leave it up to different interpretations.

If you ask me, then i can say that the vast majority is not reading the Bible, and if they claim that they are really Followers of Christ, they must have read their Bible and study it.
The focus here is not on status or census of who is reading and who is not. The question is, do they understand what they are reading, if they do, then the impact should have showed a lot to the society, that as a Christian, they believe that they have to share the Gospel of Christ to anyone, starting from their families, friends and loved one.
Do not wonder if this world will not read the Bible for it is said in 2 Corinthians 4:4, The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. We as Christ followers must be the light and salt of this earth.
