WebMD has good information and tells you alot of things about your Health. I know we should console our Dr. but sometimes you can find answers right in this Website. Do you ever use it? it is very good. I went to the Doctor and they run some test on me, so to really understsnd some of the results I went right to WebMD. they really breaks it down to you. I was really worried about the test so I did researh on it. it gave me a better understanding of my test that were done.

What I normally do is first go to WebMD, use the symptom checker they have and enter pertinent information to get generalized recommendation of what I may have, and then I see my family doctor and seek his expert diagnosis. Sometimes He gives my the same answer, sometimes I get an answer that WebMD does not mention when I run the symptom checker. I also do generalized reading of the materials there once I see the doctor, so I can understand fully the diagnosis he gave me.

I have only used them as a resource for papers at school. But I would use them if my doctor did not explain something as well as I need. I like their site, it is easy to use.

Yes, I have used them before. I use them before going to the doctor sometimes because most of the time I can just get over the counter medicines instead of going to the doctor and getting a prescription. If it does say to see a doctor, or that I will need a prescribed medicine, that is when I will call the doctor. WebMD is a good source for learning about health problems.

I use that website lots of times. I use it to check on my medicines, proceedures, and some of the chronic things that I have. It's a very excellent website! I also go to the Cleveland Clinic website to check and read more, to see what they have to say too. I think it's really important for us patients to check out stuff on our own so we can be more aware of our medical things we have to have. Glad you went to check out about your testing, it's always good to read it in plain old English. I hope your testing went well and that you are OK!

WebMD is only one of two medical websites that I trust. I have been there many times before. The other website I use is http://medlineplus.gov/
You might like that one too.

I do all the time. But not for emergencies. I have enough common sense to know when to go the hospital. WebMD is great for learning about conditions and medicines.
