Good Sunday morning, pinklily! Any of the sounds of Mother Nature's children is music to my ears! I love the early morninings, for the cacophony of sounds from the birds! They seem to cheerfully rise & greet each day! And in the evening, there is the lulling of the frog's singing in nearby ponds! To me, they are all serene and peaceful, and we should all count our blessings that we still have them as we daily destroy their habitat! I have lived on my property for 30 years this last Feb., and I have always refused to have any chemicals used here, so have my own little Nature Park. Have a serene Sunday! Cheers.

That is so great that you get to hear frogs at night! I don't live near a pond, so the only thing I hear is birds chirping and singing in the morning. That is fine with me though, I love it! I do wish I could here more wildlife sounds though!

Morning, PurpleTeddyBear....as I sit here typing, the Robin's are heralding daybreak, and the Frog's have closed their chorus for the nite! But during the day, often the little tree frogs with their huge voices, add their exclamation marks! The two ponds near me, are about 1/2 a mile away, but hearing them always reminds me that the environment is friendly..as they are a huge barometer as to the health of the land around you! So, too are dragonflys! Love to see the dragon flys, as they are (at least here)a force that eliminates so many mosquitoes, and if I don't see dragon flys..I worry that there has been mosquitoe spray used...as it kills them, too! Oh gosh, I get carried away, sorry, when it comes to Mother Nature's children! Cheers!

How inspiring pergammano, that sounds like a divine place to live.. So pecefull... Your very lucky.... Around me currently people are developing new homes, which seem to be distroyng their habitats... but we have a large park near us so it only a short walk to Nature, so we get the Kookaburras which I love to hear singing in our front Gumtree.

Hi hun! Yes, I do enjoy the sound of the birds chirping! A lot of times I hear them first thing in the morning when I wake up. Then I will just lay there awake and listen to them for about 10 or 15 minutes before getting up :)
