I love to eat food as well as cooking different types of food from various cooking styles. I want to know what my fellow mylotters are cooking today? Is it something usual or some special family recipe that you follow? Why not share with the mylot community your favorite and most cooked recipes. You can also share your recipes at the following link if you want to or simply share recipes in your responses. http://www.recipedose.com/2009/01/submit-recipe.html

i tried to make my mother's chicken afritada when i just got married and wanted to cook something for my husband, but instead i created my own version, i hope you'll be interested in making this, it's very simple, it's just like a chicken stew where you just dump ingredients, here it is: saute onion, garlic and tomatoes, when the onion turns translucent, add the chicken and add a little fish sauce, let the chicken's fats come out, simmer for a few minutes add a little water, so it wont burn, and when the chicken is cooked enough add some carrots and potatoes, then simmer until the chicken begins to crumble.... it's so easy and tasty too since the chicken's cooked in it's own fat.... hope you'll enjoy making this....SMILE...MAI

I have a dish that my Hubby taught me to make and it's very easy. All you do is take chicken quarters and lay them in a roaster pan. You peel and chunk potatoes and onions and add to it. You can also add any other veggies you feel like. Then you mix one bottle of BBQ sauce and one bottle of water (you can use the empty BBQ bottle) together and pour over the chicken and veggies. You bake it in the oven at 350 for about an hour or until the chicken is cooked thru and the veggies are tender. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**
