THANK YOU GOD!!!! I am soooooo very happy to be moving out from this dreadful place I've been in the last two years, so so so very happy to be packing up to move!!!I found out Early Monday Morning that I got this other place to move too away from this park where the Drunks, & Dope Heads hang out, Hey if that's your idea of a good time so be it, but don't do it out front in my yard area where I pay lot rent;I cannot tell you all the things I've seen go on here the last two years;its been horrible to say the least;So I've been busy packing up those dreaded boxes and totes, needless to say I'm in some crazy pain here, but its worth it to get moved out; It was such a gorgeous beautiful day here in Missouri, I hope the good weather holds out for me as I'd like to be out of this place by Sunday;and if not by the end of the month for sure;It's always the hardest to get some "muscle" to help out, Not sure if my nieces husband and his friend will be helping me out or not?I called them first thing MOnday morning and its now Tues Afternoon 4:39 p.m. ( my time) and still they've not called me, I have such a wonderful helpful family;NOT!! With my Back and Neck injuries this is a slow task for me to pack stuff much less haul it to the new place, and My Dad's Health has been really bad, he is walking a bit more now but he cannot do the things he used to do, or even did two years ago when we moved; So here we are these two aching body creatures trying to load stuff into the back of his truck, talk about pathetic, that's us... My One neighbor did come over to help when we started on the second load, (sigh) he was happy as a lamb to work his butt off for some beer money and cigarettes LOL! Hey at least he does his own partying in his home for the most part he's usually not outside making a scene...LOL!So I'm beat, we did a total of four trips of "stuff" today and I'm too tired to pack anything else, after I finish this I'm gonna watch some Tv then its off to BEd for me;Praise be For Darvocet and muscle relaxer's and I'll be visiting my chiropractor tomorrow as soon as the cable guy comes....I love it when they tell you they'll be there between 8:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon....not a problem, I'll unpack some stuff and move things around a bit while I wait, I made sure to take 2 kitchen chairs in a load this morning and my Mountain Dew and I'll be all set up...LOL!aaahhhhh! I'M MOVING, I'M MOVING! GOODBYE CRAZY As$$$$$$ss Park.... see ya!!!!!

Hey Jan! Congratulations to you!! I'll tell you what I did about 10 years ago when I was moving and I had no one to help me. I went to a homeless shelter and talked to management there. I told them I was moving and was looking for about 3 people to help me move some heavy items and was willing to pay for the help. They got 3 people together for me and we went to my place. After their help I paid them $10 each and I gave each one a lottery ticket. Try it and see what happens. The neighborhood that I live in isn't very good either, but, I do love the building that I live in. I've lived here 5 years and I'm not complaining. I wish you all the best in your new place sweetie! I'm woohooing for you. I'm also going to look up your phone number, 'cause I got somethin' to tell you. Remember when I fell last year? They said my ankle wasn't broken? Or rather, the orthopedist said it wasn't broken after the radiologist said it was? Well, I will NEVER EVER go to that orthopedist again and will tell as many people as I can not to as well. I'll call you with the details!!

I don't know how I'm going to get the rest of my stuff out of Mom's house by Sunday. I don't even have a drunk muscular neighbor. I'm thinking of hiring Tom's cousin, but we would still need a hand truck and we don't have one to take the washer and dryer out of the basement and the dishwasher out of the house. I just don't know what to do. Deb and I were supposed to go last night and tonight, but she went out last night and now she's sleeping. We need to put stuff in Tom's dad's truck to bring it to Gloucester. I just don't know what to do.

Nope. My stuff is still in her house. No one will help except a 64 yr old cousin from Delaware who could easily compete on a shipping dock! But, we can't do the washer and dryer and dishwasher and cedar chest. There is still at least a truck load of boxes, even though I've brought two up since Friday. We're outta room.

HI Ya GardenGertY; I wish you lived close by too I'd take you up on that kind offer; But Sadly you live toooooo far away from me; I'm slowly getting things done day by day, I'm all on my own packing, it all up as per usual its just the funniest thing how family members disappear when you need help or say the words I'M MOVING! They run like crazy! And then they wonder old Aunt Jan doesn't bake them their favorite pies or dinners anymore...DUH!!!!!!!!!!!! So one of my neighbors here is/has been helping me and my elderly un healthy father he is supposed to only be DRIVING the truck but silly man keeps trying to help he just can't do the things he used to do and neither can I...its pathetic!! take care don't worry all my injuries are already permanent I guess the only thing I could do now to hurt myself more is fall the wrong way and then be paralyzed God Forbid... {{hugs}}

Hi, dreamwaeverjan! I am glad that you will be moving out of an environment like this! I know that where you are going, it will be better than where you are living at~ Or was living at.. I wish you all the best! I am sorry about you and your dad's health, I hope that you both will not be too sore from the move. It would have been nice to get your family to help you all out. When it is time to move, it seems like no one is around to help, I know.. I hope that your move goes all well. I have been staying in a motel for two months, with my three kids and husband. And believe me it is not my cup of tea! I am ready to move like yesterday! So, I know how it feels to be good and ready to move to a better place! It is truly a blessing to see you much happier! Praise God!

HI there Cream: I'm sorry I am just now getting around to responding, I honestly didn't even notice until just a few minutes ago; My Bad!! Thank you for your kindness and I do appreciate it; Oh Cream, I hate to hear you and your husband and kids have been stuck in a motel all this time, I take it then that the economy has really hit you all hard; I truly am sorry; That would be really awful and such tight quarters; Have you tried any kind of housing authority where you live to see if they could help you out and set you up in a home? It would sure beat the hotel living; OH I hope things have turned around for you guys since you wrote this, I've been on disability since 1999 and had it not been for my Father then helping me out I would have lost my home I had then, and it turns out 9 years later I had to sell it anyway as I did not own the land where my mobile home sat...(Sigh)! if you need to talk I am here just PM me ok? I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!!

I hope you love your new place. I know moving to an area without all those problems is a dream come true. I lived downtown for 10 years among all the filth that goes with the excitement of city living. Now I'm in a quiet area without problem. Wow, it's so relaxing. You will love being away from all that. In a few years you will wonder why you didn't move sooner.

Hey there Catlady: Yes I love it here very much, I wish there had been an empty unit here when I was having to move two years ago but they were all filled up; so I would up in the craphole area...(sigh) such is my luck but I'M GONE FROM THERE NOW, and I escaped without getting a bullet to my head too...LOL! I won't be missing that area come Memorial Day as it becomes a terrible terrible jam-packed drunken Zoo of idiots!!! they can have it this year!!! I'll be here where its quiet and peaceful!! Thank the Lord!!

Congratulations on your move. I never realized before what a place of horror you lived in...the neighborhood I mean, so yup, great that you're moving to a better place. LOL..you're mentioning the cable guy reminds me...isn't that a fact...like when I know I'm expecting a delivery from UPS they say they deliver between 8 a.m. to 7 p.m....uh, gee could we be a bit more exact here? In fact I am expecting a delivery...from the PO...they had attempted to deliver something..it was scheduled to be delivered on March 12th..so I went out the day before not thinking anything of it...well guess what? They attempted to deliver on the 11th, not the 12th...so geez...had to reschedule the delivery..and hopefully they'll come tomorrow...as for when?????????????

Hi Opal: I'M SO THRILLED to be outta there!! YES YES YES AND THANK THE LORD!! This happened really fast I was headed out to the farm to see to my other pets the week before I got the place and as I was driving down the street, nearing this area that I pass countless times a day/week/month/year, Suddenly I was just drawn to TURN, TURN INTO THIS SECTION NOW!!! See if anything "looks empty", and TA DA they had two units available but one was spoken for, they were already moving in and the second one, the unit I have now some young man hadn't gotten back to housing, and even though I had to wait it out for 5 more days, he never called them back and the unit became mine and it's PERFECT...its exactly in a spot where I would want to be here; It's on the west side which means my backyard faces an empty acre lot of land THANK GOODNESS!!! SO I now have this great shaded yard, no body behind me, and a beautiful pine tree growing here, at my old place out in the country I had 7 pine tree's surrounding my home, and now again I have a very young pine tree growing here; I'M HOME!!
