Jade Cerisa Lorraine Goody (born 5 June 1981)[2] is a British celebrity. She came into the spotlight while appearing on the Channel 4 reality show Big Brother in 2002, an appearance which led to her own television programmes and the launch of her own products after her eviction. Jade Goody was dioganised with cervical cancer in August 2008. In February 2009, after the cancer metastasised, she was told that it was terminal. Jade Goody's publicist reports how the 27-year-old mother is explaining to her children that she is going to die.We live vicariously through breakups, weddings, even live births on cable. If death is all that's left, then a British reality TV star with terminal cervical cancer has gotten extraordinarily close to broadcasting that moment.... Jade Goody’s cancer battle has made many of us rethink our own attitudes towards death. Seeing Jade preparing for her own death is the public face of a trauma that many people face privately each year... I feel extremely sorry for this young woman who is just 27 years old and is dying, it is only a matter of days now..But the publicity and the so called celebration of death makes me uncomfortable... So friends what are your views? is she and her family right in capitalising on such her death?

How terrible! It is so disheartening and saddening to read what you haev written. The news as such is very sad for an onlooker and I just dread the thought of her parents and children.Really terrible. She would as such be feeling miserable and publicity on top is horrible!

Hi kala, but the publicity is there because she wants it herself. She has appointed a publicity manager specifically for that purpose, so that all her last moments can be covered. She wants it all to be recorded and the money earned to be given to her children and family. I find the whole thing disturbing..

I find it as such a terribly sad piece of news. And if she herself wants it I can only think that she wants to maximise her image before she passes away .It is terrible for her loved ones and for her too and I cannot understand her psychology-perhaps she thinks that this is the last chance to do as much as she can for her family and leave them whatever her contribution is, till her last.I find the whole thing terrible .In fact this is higly contradictory to what normal celebrities would do.You would have heard of Srivdhya/the tamil actress/veteran classical vocalist MLV'S daughter? She explicitly forbade all visitors from visiting her with the exception of one or two[one was Kamalahassan]before she passed away . People think in different ways.

Another girl named "Shamvabna" called her as "GUDDY" in the big boss. Really its a sad news, the whole world will miss a good lady for ever.

The Good lady part is not easy for an outsider to guess. But whatever it is all people have their good and bad sides, she has lived a tough but a glamorous life and wants to die the same way..
