It Just Won't Stop Raining! LOL!

I live in South Florida and yesterday was just beautiful. It was 82 degrees and we went out to the pool and even sunbathed. Today is an entirely different story! It has been raining nonstop since 7:00 am this morning. It is 2:00 pm and I tell you that it has not stopped raining once! And it's only up to 66 degrees so far!
We needed it though as we are in a drought at the moment. But it is just so dismal and gloomy out there. I took a picture of how gray it is today so you can all see it. Hopefully the rain will move out tonight so tomorrow is a nice day.

It is not even spring yet and you do as you sid need the rain. Your plants need it. I love the rain as it means I will not have to water the garden and will save money. Still it is sweet and refeshing to have rain. And you need to make sure you wear alot of sun block to keep your skin nice and cancer free. I live in Minnesota as you know and it was over 60 a while ago. Today I don't know the temp. slept until 9:00am. Your friend onlydia

Heya, this response is probably 3 weeks overdue
Anyway, the weather is absolutely fine today in our area. It rained a bit this early afternoon but overall its wonderful. Its not too hot and not too wet/cold today.^_^ I hope the weather in your area today or this week is also nice. Have a great day.^_^

Hey schulzie! That doesn't sound like fun! I hope the weather
isn't like that when I come to visit! I am getting ready to
plan my vacation there! I will be going to visit my mother
and I will be planning on spending a great deal of my time
at the pool swimming and sunbathing and I hate those kinds
of days when the weather won't cooperate! I will be very
upset if it rains like that and takes my swimming/sunning day
away!

We are having lovely spring like weather. Temperature from fifty to 80 degrees. A little cooler tomorrow than it was today. Today we had topped out in the sixties. We had a torrent of rain about ten days ago, and none since. We actually need moisture. It has been nice to see the sun. Trees are leafing out.

I remember seeing trees lose their leaves and then get new ones. Here in South Florida that really doesn't happen. We have fully filled out green trees year round. That and the palm trees, palm trees never lose their foliage.

Yes, I agree with you on that. Rain is better than snow any day. I just can't stand cold weather. I cannot imagine shovelling snow. My cousin lives in Ohio and she has to do that daily during the winter. No fun!

hi schulzie, my dear freind, i love rain a lot and it rains in just rainy season. but in north, where i use to live before marriage, it use to rain even in winters and there it was so cold . in winters when one get wet its difficult to stay in those clothes for a long time. but in summers one enjoys to be wet and the cloths alaso dries up very fast. i love to be in rain and i enjoy rain a lot. you people over there , you were having drought, so now you must in need of this rain and must be enjoying.

We are having wonderful weather! Sunny and finally in the 50's.....so right now it feels very warm! You still have to have on a jacket....but the sun is so nice and warm. Most of the snow banks are gone too! Woo Hoo....spring is on it's way!

You know, it has not rained here in South Florida since the day that I posted this discussion about 3 weeks ago. We really do need the rain, so I do hope that we have another rainy day soon. Our plants need it.

here where i live it rains almost every day. I'm bored actually :P but rain is good it's nature calling so I step outside and keep staring at it :)

You guys have had a drought on and off for so long that this rain will be very good for you. I remember living in Florida during a drought and it wasn't pleasant! All the fires and stuff, it was awful.
Maybe tomorrow you'll have some sunshine. I hope you have another nice day like yesterday but that the state also gets all the rain it needs this year!

Thank you. I know I really don't want the Everglades to catch on fire or anything. It is good that we get some rain although the kids just got home from school and they are not happy campers!
They did not get to go outside for recess and now they were asking to go out in the swimming pool! I told them no way!
