Last weekedn, I cooked for my friend's mother's birthday party. I was happy doing that because I like cooking and his mother is nice to me all the time. I made a galic honey chicken, peanut butter pork, green salad, pasta, a mexican dish(I forget the name).
I was happy to see everybody said it was delicious and got full hehe^_^. Afterwards, his mother called and asked me if I felt okay and stressful. It is very strange some people think cooking is a stressful thing to do, like Oh my chicken, Oh my cookies etc. Are you that type of person?
By the way, I made chicken cheesy bun this morning and I made a face on it, it is like a kissing face. I want to share with you guys!^_^ Is it cute? hehe

i don't think it is a stressful job to cook something. i really like to cook, and only things from internet, new dishes. it is the idea that you can create your favourite food, at your home, not going out to eat it. if you like pizza, like me, you can make on your own. your bun looks delicious, i'm sure it was great.

You sound like you really enjoyed cooking and certainly when you see that everyone has enjoyed the meal and have eaten a lot then it is a great satisfaction for you - well done!
I love cooking and I don't get stressed about it at all. What I get stressed about more is deciding what to prepare. Once I have decided that then I'm organised and happy preparing it.
When I have people in to eat I try and prepare some things early on so that I can also wash the dishes up too and get them out of the way. That's the worst part about cooking - all the dirty dishes afterwards!

For the most part cooking is just a part of life. Though, I can't say I love to do it, i do like it for the most part. When we have big get to gethers here are our house, it sometimes can be stressful to get everything done at the same time or about the same time so nothing is sitting there getting too cold. When we have big get togethers, I am talking about cooking for 30 or more people, so it does seem to wear me down, because most of the time, no one else will pitch in and bring anything. So that leaves me to do it all.

Great job MermaidIvy! It's nice to hear that you are enjoying what you are doing. This is really important when cooking. We don't have to feel heavy or so aggravated on cooking, our dish will taste even better when we do have a heart of doing it well and we smile when we cook.
I'm glad you made a lot of delicious recipes for your mom's friends' birthday party and they all like what you prepared. I was thinking if you can send me the recipe for that chicken cheesy bun.
I am a cook too. I prepare delicious meal for my husband and sometimes my hubby cooks for me too. We do exchange recipes at most since we are not of the same nationality. It's fun to cook, but the best part is eating
Happy Mylotting!

I hate cooking. I rather do frozen dinners or eat out. I only know how to make certain things Spagetti, Taco salad, Chicken Salad, Home made stir fry.

I love to cook, it only becomes stressful when the time is short to prepare the ingredients.

I like to cook from scratch. But the days when I work fulltime I am to tired to stay in the kitchen all evening, then I make something easy. So, the days I am of duty, I make meals for several day´s so we always have homecooked from scratch. It is healthier and keeps Your body in shape. I live in a small village without a store, so I rarly eat out.

Oh I hate washing afterwards too but just need to do it. I made the peanut butter sauce, the pork is just normal grilled pork.

If im not in the modd to be cooking then it can be stressful. If i have tons of things to get done while also cooking then yeah i can say it is stressful. On the weekends it isnt so bad because i even bake and cook alot with my mom and i enjoy that and we have alot of fun doing so. I do like to cook and see that everyone is eating and happy about it.
