There are many types of apples. What is your favorite? I like Braeburn best followed by Gala and Red as pretty much a tie. Braeburn are almost always crisp and a little tart; the first ones I had were from New Zealand and a unique taste that I really liked but now most here in the U.S. are from the U.S. and don't have that taste but are still good. Gala are usually crisp enough and not quite as tart as Braeburn while Red apples tend to be more variable and can be somewhat soft and mealy on occasion. Recently I tried Fuji because they were on sale but while they were juicy and somewhat crisp, they had a flavor that I did not like as well as the ones above. So what do you like about your favorite(s).

My favorite apple is McIntosh. They are sweet and juicy. When I lived in New York, we could get a bushel of drops for $1 but that was a long time ago. I would make applesauce and pies with them. Now I have to buy my apples at the grocery store. They're not as good but in Florida, it's hard to find fresh apples.

hi stealthy, my dear friend, i dont like apples much so if i have to eat in an emergency, like there is nothing to eat, or the food is not of my tatse, then i will prefer taking an apples rather than eating that is not healthy or too fried or oily, or whatever. i basically like juicy and crispy apples. i think they taste very good. i like to eat only those. in other times i take apple shakes . in that apple also is used and milk also is taken and becasue i dont add any milkmaid or any extra thing to enhance the taste of it, so its healthy and with no extra calories too. i am now taking that from past four five days becasue i was having so many apples and they were not coming to an end, so i decided to make apple shake and finish them off. i like apple shake very much but i just dont like eating apple. i also love to have custard with apple chunks in it, but cold custard, i love to have aplle and other fruits in cold milk. i can have apple in some other way but i cannot have it just plain as a fruit.

I only know two kinds of apples: Fuji and Washington. I prefer Fuji apples because they're sweeter. I know some people who don't like Fuji apples because "they look dirty" because of the spots and discolorations they have due to their transportation. I don't mind it at all :) I just make sure I wash it thoroughly :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!

You should try Braeburn sometime. They are usually large and to me taste better than Fuji.

I like fuji apples and granny smith. Gala apples are also good. We used to eat delcious apples all the time when I was a kid, but I dont like them as much anymore because I think I ate too many mushy ones in my day. Delcious apples are OK, they are better than Mcintosh I think.

There are a lot of different types of apples out there. Some I haven't even heard of. I like Gala and anything that is pretty sweet. Were you aware that apples contain caffeine? I found that out a while ago. I like to slice my apples and sometimes add cinnamon or peanut butter to them. I also like the green apples. I enjoy the Granny Smith ones. I used to use the green apples in my apple cakes. The apple can really add a nice flavor to a recipe.
