Dad had a tummy ache - After the kids and I had eaten breakfast (Richard eats at work), I went upstairs to get dressed. No sign of Richard in the bathroom or the closet, hmmm. Dearra says, "where's Dad?" "I don't know. Is he still in bed?" "Are you still in there?" "Groannnnn, something's not right." "What do you mean?" "I don't know, been up since 2 AM, tummy ache." About 2 minutes later he gets up and says, "funny it feels just fine now" and he gets up and gets ready and goes to work. Very weird. Soon as he's out the door, Dearra says, "Mom, maybe he's having his period."
Hm, do you think I should tell him she said that?

He seems fine today. It was probably just gas.

Out of the mouth of babes~ They sure can come up with the funniest things, and be totally serious about it all at the same time. Glad he was feeling better.

Tell him that Dearra said "Mom, do you think that he has started menopause?" That will get him thinking!
