Do you keep your cell phone on when not in use?

Most of the time when I use my cell phone it's just if I really need to. I don't keep it on all day and make all kinds of calls or receive them. I turn it on when I need to make a call and if I leave the house. Do you keep your cell phone on even when you aren't using it?

I keep my cell phone on all the time unless I'm someplace like the Dr or church, library etc. where they don't allow cell phones. I keep it on at night in case one of my kids or husband has to get ahold of me. I have a land line in the bedroom but the ringer is off since my husband has to sleep days and I may not here the other phone.

my cell phone is always on. But that's also because I use it in place of a landline. If anybody needs to get a hold of me they need to do it through my cell phone so I keep the option open. It's also on at night, you never know what kind of emergency may come through.

I think more people are using their cell phones in place of the land line.

Hello Shar19 My cell phone is on 24 hours a day. That way the important people in my life who have my number can call me at any time of the day if they wish especially if it is really important for them to get hold of me!

I always use my cell phone so it is always on. I don't have a home phone so I use my cell phone instead. I don't see no need to have two phones (landline and cell) so I recieve all my calls on my cell. The only time I shut off my phone is if I am at work.

Of course my cell phone is on all the time, because if it's off I'll miss all my calls!! I only turn it off when I don't want to be bothered, or if I don't want to talk to nobody.

I always keep my cell phone on except when it is in charge, I am in cell phone prohibited area and obviously at our intimate time. I am using cell phone to communicate and to make me available to my friends, relatives and other whom I have given my numbers.

Hi Shar19.. Yes I do. Im not comfortable if my mobile phones are not on or not with me. Those are the ones that bridge me to people back home. Thats how dependent my life is with the mobile phones.

I keep my cell phone on most of the times... Even when I don't want to be bothered, I just turn my ringer off & I get back to it when I wanna get back to it... I might be wrong here & one in the few for thinking this way but isn't that the point of having a cell phone, or a phone at all? I can see that sometimes people just don't wanna be bothered... At least this way, I can see who's call I've missed in those times I didn't wanna be bothered... But at least I can see who was trying to get in touch with me...

I just keep the phone off when go to bed because any useful or annoying phone will bother me from a dream. Except that, I don't put it off no matter when.

I have my phone on all day so that I can receive messages. I have a very poor signal where I live, so people usually only ring me on my home phone. I turn my cell phone off at night, because I don't get any signal at all when the phone's in my bedroom!
