I'm Having a Problem Staying On...Are You???

During the craziness a few weeks back, I changed my password as suggested. Since then, I can't seem to stay logged into myLot. 
I can log in & while I'm responding to a discussion or even creating one, I'm suddenly logged off. Then when I log back in, i lose everything I've already done or get a message I cannot use emotes until I reach 200 points. As you can see, I'm way past 200 so I scroll up & I'm logged off. I wrote myLot & have heard nothing. Is anybody else here having this problem??? If yes, what did you do to correct the problem??? If I'm the only one, I will begin searching my computer to see if I can find another problem. If I'm not, I hope somebody can tell me where to look!!! Surely I'm NOT the ONLY one!!!

Lady my friend I have gotten an email from one of my other friends who has said the same thing. I hope you got it fixed by now.

Oh I did...mykl's suggestion IN #1 worked wonderfully!!! I did exactly what he said plus I removed the password for myLot from my Firefox list. The next time I logged on, Firefox asked if it was to remember the password & I hit YES. NOOOOO problems since then!!!

Oh Lady M am I glad to hear that someone else is having the same problem! All of this happened around the time I got a new laptop and I thought it was something to do with the settings or whatever I had it on! It is really, really irritating and I am just about at the end of my tether with it! Here's hoping someone has an idea for sorting it out! xxxx

HEYYYYYYY MO!!!! Check out #1 from our half dressed mykl!!! I did that, but I didn't want to clear my passwords so I just removed the myLot password from my list. Then when I signed back on Firefox asked if I wanted it to remember my password & I responded yes. Since then, NOOOOO problemo!!!

Mykl's hit the nail firmly on the head with this one. I too changed my password a few weeks back and experienced the same issues with mylot logging out constantly, once I cleared cookies, it stopped happening! 
I never had any issues with the emoticons though.

The problem with the emotes was from being logged off in the middle of responding. At that point, the system couldn't see how many posts I had under my belt so it just assumed it was less than 200 as I had to be a guest.

That would drive me crazy. I have that problem in another site. It is not my computer, it is the site itself and the compatibility of me staying logged in.

I have never had a problem. I never changed a pw here yet either lol. I also don't know what the heck the 'task' thing is, I wonder if I'm the only one who is so obtuse that I haven't even noticed there were changes going on here lol.
PS: I loved your input in my thread about doing things alone lol.
