I recently joined linkreferral and I am getting great traffic there within a short period of time. I also write articles on EzineArticles and use other things like traffic exchanges and community sites.

You can submit to article directories and put links into your site. This way you can gain more traffic. Internet marketers use this method to drive traffic to their sites.
