I had five pages of unresolved discussions. I thought it would never end. BUT I am caught up now. I only have a few left and am waiting to see if they get more answers first. I am tired now. Not sure if i can move my fingers to type much longer So, How about you?? Do you procrastinate on marking best answers?? Do you do them within a few days or do you wait till they pile up?? Whats your best tip on remembering to mark best answers??

I leave mine for at least a month before marking best response because there's often new people join and answer the odd one. I'm guilty of letting the month go by though, quite often and it takes me almost a whole day to catch up. lol. I guess we get so engrossed with the newer discussions that the old ones just slip our minds. Good job though, my friend. Brightest Blessings.

Thank you my friend! Yes, there's a reason for everything, and I'm sticking by that one! ha ha ha. The funny thing is, one particular member has just, as we've been writing this, responded to four of my discussions from over a year back! ha ha ha. Proved me right, didn't he?

I have been in that situation in the past sis and I know how never ending it seems! lol I don't tend ot give out Best Response very quickly - unless I get a response I cannot help but give BR to then it takes me ages! I plan to do all my unresolved discussions at the beginning of the month from now on to save getting into that situation so we shall see if it actually happens! xxxx

Good deal! Do you want to come and catch mine up now? Yes, I do procrastinatewhen it comes to choosing a best response! I don't know why I put this off all the time. I've been trying to be better about it and instead of waiting till discussion if totally over and done with, to just bite the bullet and choose a favorite response! It has helped but I still have some old ones that need the magic touch!

Oh man..... Tell me about it! It's like we're unresolved discussion twins or something because I too had 5 pages of unresolved discussions this morning and now have it back down to 2 only! I'm hopeless when it comes to being disciplined with things like this and ALWAYS leave them to build up for weeks and even months at a time. Once I had 15 pages of them! I keep telling myself that I'm going to be far more attentive in future, but of course a month or so later, there I am again.....

I have started to go to catch up on mine as well. I was busy last week with everything and did not have that much time, so now I am doing them one at a time after I check my myLot email. Now as soon as they are done, then I will have to go back and post some more discussions. I find it hard to give best responses especially when there are two or three that are so close. And some of the discussions I would rather get quite a lot before I mark them and others well I start giving a best response when there are only three or four if they have been around for ages. And I would never give a best response if there is only one answer.

Maybe we should have a guideline that if any discussion is more then six months old, that we can tell others to go to it and answer it. I also have zero answered discussions. I mean it is not right for the person to have to give best response to just the only person who answered it. I mean it is not a choice is it? I will give that one and zero discussions some more time.

That is great to know. Did you give me one?Just kidding! I am also not able to go there yet since I came back here from a long lay off. I think I would be doing it in the coming days since I will have a long 3 days rest from work starting tomorrow. Hope me luck to do what I am planning.

I mark best responses in few days to few weeks. It all depends on topic and responses. Some discussions are so difficult to mark, specially one with over 100 or more responses....

I have been doing pretty good about keeping up with my unresolved discussions. I don't start a lot so that helps. It is good to hear you are almost caught up. That will allow you to enjoy other discussions and to start some new ones. It sounds like you are doing very well.

LOL Good for you ! I am glad you were able to catch up. I have been here so little lately that I am in the same position regarding unresolved discussions. I also have zillions of notifications on my email folder that I don't know if I will ever be able to catch up on. As for best answers when I had a chance to be here more often I simply added a reminder on my firefox ( it's an add on that has saved my life several times over because it reminds me of things as I open the browser LOL ) to remind me every 1 and 15th of each month. Then I would not forget. I know it seems a bit too much, but it worked hehe

I am not sure if IE has something like this or not. The new updates for firefox seemed to have created a few problems in some computers. I have been lucky that it's working with no problems in mine, but hubby's computer didn't take it that well and certain things don't seem to be working that well. And on my son's which we just finished putting together two weeks ago doesn't seem to like firefox either. It keeps restarting for some reason.

It can be quite a task especially when they are piled up like that. I always get behind on doing it. It is a very difficult task for me to do at times so I procrastinate. My best tip on remembering to mark best responses..... ummm, yeah, I don't have one... I procrastinate!! Although, I am very happy to say I only have 2 unresolved discussions at the moment.

I've been leaving my discussions about a month before picking best responses. I find it really difficult to choose sometimes. I have been leaving the ones with just one response, just in case somebody else responds. I try to get through one or two every few days, but they are piling up!

They pile up fast espcially if you make new discussions daily. i ty to make at least one ne discussion a day.

I just recently figured out that I had unresolved discussions, lol! I think it will take me a long time to get them all sorted out. I don't want to do too many in a day and I also want to post new ones and respond to others. There is just so much time you can spend on these things.
