Hi there littlewaffle. Reading is a way to enhance our knowledge. That's what i know why people read. Also its a way of getting information like when you read the newspaper. Getting to know what's happening in our surroundings is a good thing to do. Me, personally likes to read any books that catches my attention. It can be non-fiction or fiction. By reading, i can have a past time especially when i can't sleep at night or I'm at a boring place. Worst is when I'm in the traffic jam which is the most boring time in my life.

Reading is a good habit. It can not only bring you knowledge, but also entertains you. I love China

It is great to obtain information from reading. I think there are some people who dont enjoy reading. I think there are some people like that, as for me, I really lie reading and will always do it wheneve i have the time. It is good.

Cheaper to learn from other peoples' mistakes than your own mistakes. For example, many students spend hours and hours memorising textbooks, and yet score very badly in the examinations. They feel hurt and bitter when they see that they are far behind those students who never seem to study and yet score so well. Those students who never seem to study and always playing games, shopping and sleeping have put in effort to read books on how to study. They learn from reading the books that memorising notes is the most time-consuming and useless methods. They read about better methods and use it to improve their memory and examination results.

If you do not read or shall I say if you are illiterate it is very hard to function in this world during the age of information. Reading helps one get the details on a subject. You may be able to hear news or watch a show on a subject, but if you have further interest it is always nice to read more about it. Reading expands your world and a person can go as deep into a subject as they want with the ability to read. Reading is education. Education helps you to be a more informed person. Reading can bring people together socially. I am amazed at the amount of book clubs in our town. There are books of every variety being read and shared. There are many reasons to read but most of all I like to read just for fun. It is such a blessing to be able to read and then have such a variety of things to read.
