what is your favorite Mexican restaurant?

In NY I loved going to the Baja Grill. I love to get wraps where they have a smoky hot mango salsa...yum! I also love fajitas and if we go to a genuine Mexican Restaurant my daughter and I sometimes share this yummy dinner. She loves it too! A side of rice and black beans and all is good! Now I am hungry lol

Ummmm .. does Taco Bell count? I told myself that I need to try to get out in the world more. I think the only real Mexican Restaurant that I've been to was Chi Chi's, or something like that. And, that was soooo long ago that all I can say is I don't remember being impressed. They do have a new restaurant called Pollo Tropical or something similar that I told myself I was gonna try. Other than this, the closest I get are local ma and pop restaurants that serve Spanish food.

My favourite Mexican restaurant is a place called "Tortilla Flats", and it is a small restaurant, but the food is great. The place is always crowded, and in some periods you have to make reservations a couple of weeks before you want to eat there, because the restaurant is really popular. I also know another Mexican restaurant, and it is called "Il torito". It is a rather new restaurant, and it is not as popular as the other one. I have been there a few times, adn I think it is okay, but my favourite Mexican restaurant is "Tortilla Flats"

Hi clorissa, since I live in Mexico I have many favorite places! Back when I lived in the US my favorite was a place called Cactus Cafe, it had wonderful food and the fresh juices that you mentioned. Here one of my favorite places is called La Terracita (the Terrace) they have wonderful seafood and great fresh juices and cocktails. One thing that they do that I really love is that when you go in and sit down, they immediately bring you five or six small dishes of food (free) the call them botanas. It changes everytime that I go, sometimes it is fresh sweet mangoes with a sprinkle of chilis on them, fresh ceviche, beans, salsa, chips, and things that I don't even know what they are but they are delicious! Many times my husband and I have gone there to have dinner but by the time we have snacked on all of the freebies we aren't hungry any more!

There are three where I live and they are Rio Grande, Rio Colorado, and San Antonio Grill. I really enjoy the San Antonio grill. I love them bring out salsa and chips and most of all bring out the foot hot fresh off the grill.
