Do you read on trains and buses, etc., etc.?

I read on buses, the paratransit service, the doctor's, Amtrak (I go nuts without a book on Amtrak). I usually even carry an emergency book in my backpack just in case.

I get motion sickness if I read in a moving vehicle. I do read while waiting for appointments, but I usually don't have a lot of appointments.

I always have at least one book with me when I leave the house - normally I have two or three, as I'm a quick reader, and read on the tram to and from work, and in my lunch break.
I feel lost if I don't have a book with me, as there are always times when you find yourself with some free time, like when you're waiting at the bank, or sitting in the waiting room somewhere for whatever reason.

I usually prefer to look out the window while I am traveling but I will often read if I get bored or there is nothing to see. I like to read at times. i can rarely sleep while I am traveling so that is not a problem. I just will try to pass the time however I can.

I read mostly at home but some of the other places I read are the gym, sometimes at work on my lunch break, and while waiting at places like the doctor's office. I can't read on a moving vehicle of any kind, so I could never read on the bus, train, or car. But I do carry my book with me wherever I go, so if I have a few extra minutes, I tend to pull it out and read.

I always take the current book that I'm reading whenever I go somewhere. If my fiance has appointments that he needs to go to, I drive him and sit in the car and read, read, read. I have also taken a book with me when I go to the doctor's office. I don't ride trains or buses but I would definitely take a book with me to read. I also always read while on airplanes! And always have a book or two when I go on vacation...even if I'm only going away for the weekend.

most of my reading consists of studying lol. i can't read while mobile, like on a train, car, etc. for a trip. it makes me carsick. i do, however, read while i'm waiting for an appointment, like at the doctor's office. i'll get as much as i can in when i can. every little bit of time helps! lol.

thanks for your response.
it's understandable, that as a student, you would want to read as much as possible, whenever possible.
:)
