How to maintain your Notebook computer's Lithium -Ion battery?

Most of the notebook battery could last almost 2 years. I want to lengthen its usage life, could you pls give some suggestion to maintain the battery?

One of the common issue about laptop's hardware problem is its battery. I have suggestions for lengthening the laptop's battery. First, do not use your laptop while charging. Lastly, an alternative for that is dis attach the battery of the laptop, that is the time to use the laptop while plugging the adapter to the outlet. It did not interrupt the battery's charging and you can use your laptop without it.

One of the easist ways is to use the power cord as much as you can. I have also heard that if you remove the battery when using the cord it might last longer since it is not charging when it does not need to.
