Today, when I do the cleaning, I find my card collection. All this holiday cards are sent by my friends several years ago. I read the words in them feeling the friendship I once owned so warming. But I have to get rid of them this time, I have no room for them. Finally, I have some of them into my bookmarks, some of them decorte my room. I think it is a nice way to deal with them. How about you. How do you deal with those old holiday cards, and other useless things.

There are places that have clients or consumers or residents ( all names for people in group homes) cut the fronts off the cards and make tree ornaments, gift tags, or new cards from them I donate to those kinds of places.

I don't know this kind of clients. But it sounds a good way to deal with those cards.

Hi there hlldelight. I have still with me the holiday cards that my friends gave to me during my high school days. Its placed in a small box in my room. I don't want to just burn them since its one of the best memories that i can hold on to until my old age. When i feel alone and lonely, i sometimes open the box and read again the things that were written in the cards. I also have mails in me that i often read. Its from friends from far away whom i used to write in the past years. Its good to reminisce the past with cards and letters. It bring back the lost memories, either good or bad.
