Ikea is a shop that sells furniture and household items. It originated in Sweden and it is in my home country and I even noticed that it is in Australia. It has cheap prices and is a popular place for my sister, husband and their kids to go. Does your country have a shop called Ikea? If so have you ever been there?

yeah, i have heard about Ikea two years ago in my country China. there are their shops in big cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, as well as Shenzhen where i live currently. and i think they also have a shop in Hongkong. i've been there before. and i have to admit they provide consumers very high quality products compared to many other local furniture shops. but they seems to be more expensive to many ordinary Chinese. and they attracts more young people than old ones.

i am in canada and i love ikea! we go there about once every few months (because we end up spending a whole lot of money!) i usually load up on candles there because they are inexpensive and smell great. we usually buy our christmas tree from there because last year it was only $20- and you got a coupon for the store. do you ever get food there? we can get a small meal there for about $2-!

It is excellent that you manage to go to Ikea every couple of months. My sister takes her family there for dinner because it is so cheap and her children enjoy it. I should try it and at the moment I just go there for shopping. The decorative things like candles are so cheap. I am keen to buy a stylish looking mirror from Ikea. I have ordered an armchair and I might get a foot stall.

Ikea have some stylish furniture for very little money I find. I like the fact that many of their covers on their sofas are machine washable. I think that many homes can be decorated with the patterned materials that they have. I am glad it is in your country too.

So Ikea is in Canada then. I am pleased about that. I have a table that can be extended in size when more guests arrive and I have a set of folding chairs. Some of the furniture is good quality but the cheapest stuff is not very strong. The owner of Ikea must be doing well financially.

There are some in the UK altho the nearest to me is in the next city north. But they are really expensive over here. Ikea is known as a high class place.

I live 20 miles away from my nearest Ikea shop and so they will deliver to my home if ask them. On Wednesday they will be delivering my new arm chair. Some of their prices are cheap but their top range is pricey.

I live in Sweden where we have IKEA in every big city. It's a good place where they offer different levels of prices to meet all levels of income. They have special family bargains days. You can purchase your furniture in one piece or you can have it cheaper to assemble the furniture yourself. I like IKEA.

Ikea - Ikea is available in guangzhou
About three years ago, the Ikea was available in my city. It is a furniture store but I have never been there yet. As I've heard it's quite crowded there. I don't like to go to anywhere that are full of people. Besides, I don't need any new furniture so far. So I haven't been there yet. I love China

They have Ikea's here in the United States, but unfortunately I live 2 1/2 hours away from a Ikea store. But I do have some Ikea items that a friend of mine sent me. I love their website and catalog. I hear their sale items are hard to beat and they have awesome after Christmas sales. I love their holiday lights and lamps they have. They have a lot of super cool items for the home.

Hi, maximax8! I think that we have one in our country. If I am not mistaken, is this the company where they make commercials on the T.V.? Because I keep seeing a woman that looks like a man on this commercial. They always air this on T.V. My husband said that it was a woman. He said that it was Della Reese, the actor. I have seen her on many shows. As a matter of fact she played on the Hallmark show, "Touched By An Angel." And that woman on the commercial does not look anything like Della Reese. Being that I saw this commercial, I am assuming that we have an Ikea furniture company in our country.

Yes there is and it's located in the capital of my country. I have been there only twice and spent so quite a number of hours in there looking and picking up stuff for my apartment. How I wish they would open one in my state as I dislike travelling to the capital. It's crowded and always jam packed. I love the DIY stuff in IKEA and also the small small storage organizer stuff. And yes the prices are affordable.

Ikea opened its shop in China about 15 years ago. It has become an element of the younger generation. My son bought a lot of his furnature, interior decoration, etc. from Ikea, and my grandson also likes to join his father to go there. After shopping, they would have a big meal of the swedish meat balls, and potato, and bring home some bags of cookies and candies.

We actually just got a brand new Ikea store here. I haven't been to it yet but I do plan on going. My uncle and my brother work there. My uncle sells the cabinets and does measuring and all that and he's the manager over that area. My brother works under him installing the cabinets.

About a year ago my ex-boyfriend and I broke up. He kept most of our furniture, so I had to buy a lot of new things. I bought most of my new furniture in Ikea, because is cheaper than many of the other shops, and I like the things that they sell. I am not very good at assempling the furniture though and I spent quite a lot of hours trying to assemple my new chairs I got very stubborn and I didn't want to give up, but in the end my fiance had to take over and he was able to assemple everything pretty fast.

Hi there maximax. In Singapore there are two Ikea stores, the newer one is so big it kinda looks like a mall. My wife loves to shop at Ikea, basically buying new stuffs to decorate our home. In fact most of our stuffs were from Ikea. A bit of info about Ikea. It seems they develop and design some products specifically tailored for the country the store is located at. So a dining table you see in Ikea Singapore, won't be available if you visit an Ikea store elsewhere. Cheers.
