That's good that they will be calling you on Monday. Always have to wait when it happens on the weekend.............. I am doing okay. Have to work 3-9 today, so trying to get a few things done around here before I go in as well as respond to a few discussions.

Why should I have a problem with his Insurance Company? It was his fault. Well Vicky My Taillight on the Drivers side was smashed and my bumper is about to come off. His Car wasn't damage as bad as mind. I call my Insurance company and told them what happened.

I'm glad he stopped and gave you his insurance, my friend. It's a good job the kids were ok as well, but then I suppose if they hadn't been in there, the guy might have driven off and not said a word. A bit scary for them though. I hope your car isn't in too bad a state and that you can get it fixed quickley my friend. Brihtest Blessings.

I am glad to know that everyone is okay. I was in a recent accident myself but it was the other guys fault and this is why I am never going to get a drivers license. We were hit by a city truck while we were going straight and he was making a left hand turn mind you we both had green lights but he was supposed to yield. No one was hurt but the car looks pathetic. We are taking it in tomorrow to have it fixed and it will be in the shop for 7 days. It really is too bad that they don't pay you for all the running involved in getting things done before you have the car fixed I swear we would be millionaires lol. Hope you get yours fixed soon and as always have a great day.

Oh Sad to hear but glad that no one got hurt in that incident. So, did that guy did something to rectify his error. I remember once my friend had an accident when his car rode on his bycycle. Luckily he didn't get hurt badly but that car was caught by police. My friend was smart and he didn't file any FIR but did take some money for it. I think he took Rs 500 for it.

How frightening! I'm glad everyone is ok too, that's the most important thing. Since you are not at fault, and the other guy's insurance will be paying for repairs, see if you can have it repaired at the dealership. That was you can be sure that any parts that are replaced will be correct, and the paint will match correctly. Pretty soon it will be good as new.

Yes they are, but worth it for the results. Plus, you don't have to pay for it, they person who hits you does...well their insurance company does. They should also pay for a rental for you while your car is getting repaired.

That is SUCH a shame!! Geez, it's bad enough when they hit you when you're moving, but when you're stopped and parked?! Glad you got his license plate number and exchanged info. Sometimes even a little dent or something like that costs far more than what we'd expect it would! Hope the sore neck is gone by now, thank heavens it wasn't worse.

they still may have whiplash though, it would be good to have them checked out if their neck continues to hurt. It was great that they were not seriously hurt.

Wow that is crazy. Glad everyone is ok. I have been in an accident before but both cars were moving. it was a scary thing and all I got for compensation was $600 all because the other driver didn't want to take any blame eventhough originally she said she would pay for all the damages which were a little over $2000.

What they didn't want to admit it was there fault? If the got cited then it was there fought. Were you albe to get the job done?

Well I live in Canada and at the time I was in Alberta. They have a whole wack of different insurance places and unless I had a witness they wouldn't take my word over hers. If it had happened in BC there is only one insurance place and both cars would have been taken in and assessed to see who was at fault. I wish they would have done that but they don't do it there. I ended up giving up the car all together and am looking for a new one.

At least, no one got hurt or anything. I'm glad everyone was okay. And he was nice enough to give you his information and such. The important thing, though, in my opinion, was that no one was severely injure in this. It would have been terrible, if someone had been hurt and had to go to the hospital or something.

Sweetie- If your grandson and niece were in the car you should have them checked out, especially if they said their neck hurts. Low impact accidents actually can cause more damage then high impact ones. The reason why is that the head does not have time to do a full range of motion with a low impact and can cause more issues. Your insurance company can file a claim against the offenders insurance that will pay for all your car repairs and all medical bills. Namaste-Anora
