My cat had 5 kittens last summer, I was only able to keep one. I miss them so much and think about them all the time. I hope they are doing well in their new homes. 
They used to all sleep on top of me starting at around 4 weeks. In fact their mother was putting them in the bed with me when they were 1 day old. I had to keep getting up and taking them back to their box I was afraid I was going to squish them. Finally I had to shut her and the babies out of my room, she just would not stop doing it and I was losing sleep.

I really think she did want me to help her. She was a very young mother, about 10 months old when she had the litter. She looked so terrified while giving birth. Not only did her water break on top of me (on my pillow), she tried her best to have the kittens in my lap!
I also feel it has something to do with safety and security. She had always slept in the bed with me and probably felt it was the safest place for her kittens.
Whatever the reason I am glad she loves and trusts me so much !

Ahah... you are doing what I have been doing for the past 15 months.
Cute is the word. Could not get ride of them.
I started with one Tom Cat who brought home a feral Female.
I now have 10 hungry cats to feed.
And another 5 who vanished in the bush and are probably founding another colony. lol

That's how it started with me too. My Checkers kitty danced around in the window, and attracked all the males in the neighborhood.........They even busted down the window screen to get her outside!!

Congratulations! =) hehehe. I remember when I had my kittens and now they're cats. Makes me wanna get a kitten again.

Oh, yeah, they are so cute. And I like cats very much, they are beautiful and intelligent. I had a cat several years ago and it is an interesting cat, who likes to play games with dogs, however, the dogs are unfriendly.

Yeah, you gotta watch those unfriendly dogs....I had a cat that used to play tricks with the unfriendly dogs. #:)

Awww they are adorable, reminds me of when my Lucy was born not to long ago. I got her from my daughters cats litter, so I was able to watch her grow and change everyday.
