It lights up a room!

I have found that baby smiles have a special sort of magic in them. In Peter Pan, I believe they say a fairy is born the first time a child laughs. If I believed in real practical magic, that little bit of storytelling would be persuasive to me. I think children have to have this special form of mind-control to make up for the sleep deprivation part of being a new parent. What makes a baby's smile so wonderful is, I believe, that babies cannot lie. They do not understand the concept. They also hold nothing in check, they smile with their whole heart. As adults, we grow a bit more calloused, but babies are fresh and new in this way.

Especially when my wife plays with him, my little baby giggles, which is a wonderful thing. It shows that the baby is growing happily and healthily. I know exactly what you mean,because when my little baby niece who was born in February smiles it sets our hearts aglow and we can't help but see the wonder in her smile and it makes us love her all the more if possible. It brings us such joy and contentment to see her smile.

i have also experienced this!!!i used to becomes so tired after caring for my baby but a smile from my baby would make my tiredness vanish like magic.also the funny chatter of my youngs ones also elevates my mood.

I think it is infectious. The smiling thing. It is kind of hard to not smile when you have a little baby smiling at you .

Baby smiles, coos and giggles , and puppy kisses are all very special to me .
