If I were to answer this question, my answer would be that I am the worst cook. LOL ! Cooking is one thing I have never been good at. The only thing I can cook would be "boiling water". That for sure I know how to do it ! Even that, some of my friends don't believe me ! Ha ha ! How about you ? Are you a good cook ? What would be your speciality ?

Hi, Greenline! I think i am because i am the one doing all the cooking whenever we have a celebration. Like, Christmas, birthdays, feasts and all occasions that we will be having guests here at home. I got it from my mom and my aunt who both are good cooks. My specialty would be "asado" as we call it here. It is a dish cooked with our own version of lemon juice and soy sauce sauteed in tomato sauce. We can use pork, chicken or beef with it. All family occasions can never be without it, my family just loves "asado". I can prepare it for you when you can come and visit Manila again.

My parents always told me I was a terrible cook. I don't keep to the rules. I do what I feel like. I put seasonings in that I feel like eating at that moment. Other people say they enjoy what I make. Stew, chicken, soups, spaghetti, macaroni, normal day to day meals. Take care, have a nice weekend.

According to the people in our house who eat what I cook everyday, I am a good cook. I just don't know what their standard is. I may not be a cook if others will rate me. All I am sure of is that I love to cook.

i dont cook. my wife is the one who cooks. and she is very good on that. i wanted to learn but sometimes it is more on going to waste than learning. so i just give a hand if she needs one and just wash the utensiles she used after cooking. i am also the one who sets the table and cleans up after eating. in that way we share chores.

Hi greenline, I'm a good cook, at least it's what my partner and my friends say. Of course in the land of blind, one-eyed man is a king. Haha, just joking. I like to cook simple dishes such as pancakes, hotcakes, meat omelette,... Recently, I've gone to a vietnamese restaurant. The dishes were so delicious there, so I've search for their recipe on the internet and then have cooked them by my self. It's less good, but ok. I'll learn some skills to improve the taste.

I would have to say I am a good cook as I do it for a living, and I really enjoy cooking. As for a speciality that is a tough one. I think perhaps lasagna, scalloped potatoes, chili and bacon wrapped roasted pork.

Lol cooking... It's funny how something that usualy taste good can turn disgusting when you fail to prepare it haha. I don't really have any knowledge on cooking and that's something I want to learn in the near future to improve my autonomy. Speciality: Kraft diner haha.

My specialty is heartburn! I'm a pretty fair cook although, as a friend of mine from Detroit says, I don't have any home trainin'. I can put together a good Thanksgiving dinner, I can do some pretty mean stir fry dishes and friend rice, barbequed chicken and hot wings, too.

Thankfully after more than 30 years of cooking I am a good cook. Didn't start out that way. Got married and suddenly realized mom wasn't there to cook, and I didn't know how. LOL Not mom's fault, she had tried to teach me. But, with trial and error and some lessons from mom and mom in law I learned. I'm pretty good with mexican dishes for some reason. Fix alot of different ones. I also know how to cook "farm style" country meals thanks to my deceased mother in law. She was a fantastic cook and I learned alot from her. Even now though I still can't get my mashed potatos to taste as wonderful as hers did. LOL Luckily in my household my guy is also a good cook. His grilled steaks, chicken and such taste better than you can get in ANY restaurant. And his Tuscan ragu is delicious as well. But guess thats to be expected from a sexy Italian guy huh? :)

Hey greenline! Not everyone is a good cook! Everyone is good at something and maybe cooking is just not your thing! I happen to be a good cook, at least that's what I've been told! And it's a good thing because I'm not good at too many other things! I can make some great chicken dishes like friend chicken cutlets, chicken paprika, chicken teriyaki and I can make a mean meat loaf, meat sauce, and some other interesting dishes! I am making a nice Easter Dinner of Turkey with all the trimmings~want to come for dinner?

I am a bad cook but have improved over the years. One of the things is I don't like to cook and never have liked to cook. I come from a family of ten and I always swapped with my sister when it was my turn to cook. I would do her cleaning the house and she would do my cooking. That worked for us because she didn't like to clean the house. Now I don't mind cooking for my husband but it is definitely never anything fancy. If I lived by myself I would never cook. I would have all microwaveable things in my freezer.

My husband is great. He and I go to the grocery store together and he picks up tv dinners and quick things like that. What surprises me is that he grew up with Mom cooking home cooked meals. But he also knows that I don't like to cook and never have liked to cook. So we have been married 36 years and I do cook for him but he is alright with food that I can pop in the microwave also.

I'm not a very good cook compared to others but I'm good in few recipies. My specialty is our very own chicken or pork adobo. Veggies with coconut cream and chicken curry. I do excel in preparing chicken macaroni as well. Should I learned to cook more recipies maybe I would be a better cook.
