well, as i posted in my last discussion, we have guests in town from Germany. so, what do they want to do while here in Las Vegas??? take in a show??? check out some of the many attractions our casinos have to offer??? ride a roller coaster or two??? graze at one of the many buffets we have on the Las Vegas Strip??? NOOOOOOOOOO!!! they want to SHOP!!! I HATE SHOPPING!!! but what i hate even worse is watching someone else shop. we've walked miles everyday to visit the shopping meccas located on the strip.....heck, we even had to make a pilgrimage to wal-mart.......i guess they can't get our American made goods in Germany, because they're like kids in candy store. this old bear can't take any more shopping and walking so i've decided to stay home for a couple of days and let missybear go solo. i plan on re-joining them on Friday when we're going to go to the Hoover Dam and take the tour (MORE WALKING!!!) and then we got a room on the strip for the weekend, so at least we have a nearby bed to collapse in when the day's walking is done. OK........off to go raise some hell while i'm on here.

Don't forget the pearled finish paint job. That would really make that panda jealous.

i been considering a hover-round for quite some time now regardless of my feet. course i'd have to soup it up a little with some hydraulics, some chrome rims, and a boom-chicka-wow-wow sound system.

What? Both of your foots??? Sure, shopping sucks big time, but you my friend are in the position of all positions at this moment! In 8 days time, they shall return to Germany and you will be able to milk for at LEAST the next year, the very fact that you spent the entire trip shopping. Oh man, the things you'll get away with in the upcoming year! Happy Hellraising!

Take care of those blisters good, I guess it is like that everywhere all over the world. If someone goes to visit someone else's town, state, or country they are going to want to see what's to offer at the stores. Just think though..You doing a good thing and when you make missybear happy she will in tun make you very happy..

I'm not much of a shopper either Sconi but I have to say I think that maybe God is punishing you for threatening to eat cute little bunnies! lol If I were you I would soak my feet in nice hot )as hot as you can handle) water with bicarbonate of soda in it as my Grandad always swore by that for blistered feet! When my other half came across to the States some years ago with his work he shopped a LOT because so many things , especially shoes and clothing were so much cheaper there than they are here! I think he bought my daughter who was about 1 then eight pairs of Timberlands in different styles and sizes and the most expensive ones were still only a third of the price that they cost here - maybe that is why they are so excited??? xxxxx

Bwahahahahaa - suffer, Mr Bear! Shopping's bad enough when it's your own - someone else's is torture! (Does your visitor have a Hitler moustache?)

Hey sconi! I see the "family outing" isn't quite going as well as you thought it would! Oh well! I guess Germany doesn't have as many wonderful stores as the USA does! Walmart is a hit to them huh? Who would have thunk it? Not me? OK, just hang in there it's almost over! Just let missy take care of the rest! She loves to shop anyways! At least you have been there to support her and that's what counts! I am proud of you Mr. Bear! Now take it easy and rest up for the final few days!

Hey sconibear, get you one of those electric carts that they provide in wally world for their tired customers. Actually they are for the disabled but I think all those blisters qualify as a disability.
