One being the highest and eight the lowest. That is how I perceive them in the competition. My line-up is just my own perspective by the way.
How about you guys, can you arrange them anyway you like... by talent or by your liking. :) I will be looking forward to see wheteher we got the same taste or not. LOL but whatever outtcome is... your choice will always be RESPECTED! God bless us all

Personally, I like Matt better than Kris & Allison, but the public doesn't seem to so those 3 are reversed. I think Matt should move up to #3 & scoot Allison & Kris down one place. Kris could redeem himself if he'll just work a little bit. He has the talent & I HATE to agree with Simon...he just needs confidence. Maybe he's missing being home & is having second thoughts about making it BIG!!!

Why are you going to ALL my responses on Idol & leaving testy comments??? You are entitled to your opinion & so am I!!! The owner of this discussion knows exactly how I feel about this year's Idol contest. I listed who I think will probably win & then I commented on who I hope will win. It's NOT your place to correct me!!!
I know you prefer Anoop will win...ain't gonna happen!!!

i agree adam makes a lot of buzz and good falsetto, but at the end of the day, i will buy matt and anoop's type of songs... r&b, so if you bash me it's alright

uhh i don't know if i can even think of dashboard confessionals when i see kris, hehehe, but the paramore girl, well i don't know, she still sounds more like Pink...
yeah, kelly clarkson comparison, but this is not the first time, who was the girl they compared to kelly before, was it alexis??? but yeah, the closest comparison will be allison... the girl has a fantastic voice, i just wish she wouldn't eat her words when she sings... i love it when she growls

That's funny. Allison reminds me of Hayley Williams from Paramore when she sings and in some of her facial expression but I really get the Kelly Clarkson comparison when she talks. She has that same deep husky voice that Kelly has.
And Kris reminds me of Chris Carrabba from Dashboard Confessional. I can't quite put my finger on why, I just always think of Chris when Kris is on...good thing they spell it differently LOL2 people like this

lol =D Though i did not follow american idol at all, but i managed to know a few popular and unpopular names in the contest.. lol =D BUt then again, it's mroe to what i feel after reading from all the comments that u have received with all your posts about american idol.. hehe ^_^ And here's my list of top 8.. lol =D

4.) Lil - OH! VERY GOOD VOICE! But she should learn how to pick the right song for her!

Wow. I was beginning to think I was the only person on here who liked Megan. I thought she had a very unique and very.... um... cool (for lack of a better word) voice. Maybe someone else in the industry will recognize it too.

Well its the day after now so we are down to 7. My choices are 1. Adam 2. Kris 3. Danny 4. Allison 5. Mstt 6. Lil 7. Anoop
I think Lil is talented but doesn't quite get that she is redundant with her choices which has hurt her. I really believe that know matter who I like it will come down to Adam and Allison.

Lil has all the potential in the world, but she is just not standing out, and she has yet to amaze me. I am impressed with Allison because of her young age and her maturity. I actually almost tie Danny and Matt. Kris gets extra points for being cute.

Actually, right now, my favorite among the 8 is Adam,second is Danny. I really anticipated their songs and performances. In fact, I'm watching AI only to those two and also hoping that they will be the last two contenders of AI.

Since we're now down to seven, mine looks like this:

2. Danny (even though he's my favorite....I think)
3. Allison

For the record, I didn't like Scott, but I think he had a bit more talent than Lil. Lil has a powerful voice but she has proven herself completely incapable of thinking outside the box, and vocal talent is only half of the equation. As Kara KEEPS TELLING HER, artistry is a big part of being successful and Lil has not shown any artistic flare.

and scott shows that more than lil. and if lil will fail to sing great this time then I will not be surprised to see her go home this week. I love Danny more than Adam but based on talent... ADAM got a bigger chance to win this. but hope for the support for DANNY even more... GO DANNY!

American Idol is my favorite show of all and i always look forward to watching it every year. This year the talent is amazing and the contestants are doing a good job. My line up from one to either for the top 8 would be.
1. Danny
2. Adam
3. Matt
4. Allison
5. Anoop
6. Kris
7. Scott
8. Lil Rounds
I know a lot of people wouldn't like my top 8 but that is ok. I have my favorite and everyone else has there's. Enjoy watching the show tonight.

In my opinion you truly got the order correct. In the beginning I thought that
Lil would be up there in the top 4 but I think her attitude has hurt her. She doesn't seem to be listening to the judges comments which is costing her. I thought she was horrible last night with that song "The Rose", but that is my opinion.
