Well, there are more ways to express our happiness and whistling is one of it.In a joyful mood,I use to whistle unknowingly. That way,I can express and enjoy my happiness. So,do you too like to whistle when you feel happy?

Hi Srganesh, I wish I can whistle, but I can't. So whenever I'm deliriously happy, I would just sing or hum - any happy songs or tunes that come to mind!

Yes!We have to express our happiness in one way or other.Whistling or singing,we can show our joy explicitly. That adds more to out excitement and that would spread to the adjacent people too.Well, will you hum it loud so that others can know the song or you do it in a husky voice.Cheers!

I am really confused! How can there be a person who would whistle in a sad mood?Till date,I have associated whistling with onlt happy moods and here you are relating it with sad and thinking and even to sleeping! How is it possible for you to whistle in a sad mood? There can be some pathos songs but no pathos whistle.Cheers!

I actually can't whistle! I've never been able to whistle! I don't know why, I just can't! Maybe its because I have crooked teeth. I'm not sure. It always puts a pep in my step when I hear other people whistle though! When I was little, we had a mailman who would deliver the mail on our street and he always whistled and gave the kids on the street candy when he came by!

It is sad you can't whistle. You are a great admirer of whistling as you get a pep in your step even hearing other people whistling. It seems you will celebrate whistling people. No doubt that postman who whistles and delivered candy for little ones had influenced you a lot.By the way, what other thing will you do when you feel happy?

Hi! I don't know how to whistle and I wish I can, lol. I smile a lot when I'm happy and sometimes I also sing, although I don't really have a good voice.

You don't need a good voice like a stage singer to express your joy.Just you use it to show out your joy and ignore what others would think of.Even people around could appreciate and feel happy when you can spread your song with the essence of your happiness. So,sing it loud so that your happiness could travel long.Cheers!

You know what? I dont' know how to whistle. I am 33 and can't whistle. When I was a kid, all my friends tried to teach me. They told me how, but it never helped, I just couldn't do it, and I still can't do it! I hadn't actually tried in a long time, but when I read your post I just tried and NOPE- still can't. How old were you when you learned how to whistle?

It is really sad you can't whistle even after your friends tried to train you.I thin you are in a stress to learn it then. Now,whenever you are in a relax mood try to whistle again and I think you will succeed in it.Then, how will you show your happiness? Will you sing or do you have any other means of expressing?

Yes!Being an adult we can't freely whistle in a street. It would be often mistaken for eve teasing too. So,we have to be careful when it comes to express our happiness in public places. At such times I would like to hum a favorite song that comes into my mind.I never care what others would think but hum it as I like it.It is somewhat safe.Cheers!

Yes,i like to whistle when i am very happy, but the main problem is that i am not so good in whistling. When i try to whistle, instead of sound, only air comes out of my mouth.

I remember once when I was just a younster. I was wondering around the house whistling. I really didn't think anything of it, I was just whistling a little tune, probably the last thing that I heard on the radio or perhaps one of my favorite songs. My brother complained to my mother. He said that I was making fun of him because he couldn't whistle. At the time, I don't even think that I knew that he couldn't whistle. Fortunately, my mother was very understanding of the situation. Plus, the fact that her father used to go around whistling a tune quite a bit, probably helped the situation for me as well. My mom simply told my brother that I was only whistling the happy tune because I was in such a good mood. I think it is right. When I am in a good mood, I really enjoy whistling. And sometimes, simply whistling will put me in a good mood. Good point, thanks for sharing srganesh!

That is one another way to express our happiness.Do you sing loud or in a husky voice? Are you confident of your voice?Do you have any experience singing in the street? How will people around you respond when you suddenly start singing like that? Will you care for them?

I have seen that usually guys lik to whitle when they are happy. Women are not into that other than teenage girls. Whistling is another thing like cycling which I tried, tried, and tried, but never learned to do. It is sad to think about that. I have a friend Sindhu who wants to whistel, she also couldn't learn it yet.

Whistling can be done easily if you tried patiently.Only the desire to learn something is needed and you can whistle like most of us.Then, how will you express your joy or happiness? Will you want to sing or just shout out?You should have some way to show up.What is it?

Why should we bother about others? We just whistle to express our joy and we need not hold it for the fear of getting criticism from others. We will not be whistling loudly so that anybody will be disturbed.Personally speaking,if I see somebody whistling out of joy,I enjoy it and the happiness seems to catch me too.It is nice to have somebody happy around.Whistling is a way to express happiness.Cheers!

i also that a lot times when im happy. it may way of expressing my happiness. you can see me whistling when i receive my first check from this site but that's far behind form now, i just started and i don't expect much.my grandfather likes to whistle around when he is just sitting at the living room relaxing. it s his way of telling me to stay at my room and not to make noise. he likes it when im working cause im so quite. my older sister who is 3 years older than me was whistling at the backyard when i first it. i got so interested that i even asked our neighbor to teach me how to do that. my curiosity wet so far . im so frustrated to learn about whistling when my best friend is whistling a song. it sounded great on her. the next morning i bumped into my father. finally my first lesson. it took me about two hours to master it . finally i can whistle along with my father , best friend and sister already. you should try it too. its makes you feel relaxed .just don't do it in public place because some people get annoyed by the thin and clinging sound of the whistling.

When generally I am in good mood I like to express my joy through singing at a lower tone. I generally sing popular musics but they are not fixed, any song which I remember, I sing that.
