My Best Friend I have known since Pre-School, and we have been through hell back with out lives, relationships, and friendships, but there is nothing in the world that could break us apart. We are now thirty something years old and we are still as close as two people can be. My husband is my best friend as well, but Angie has been my best friend for life. When one of us has to move for what ever reasons the other one packs up her family gets transfered in jobs or gets new jobs and moves also to the same place the other one is moving. This has yet to cause any complications because our husbands are both doctors and can transfer anytime to any place and we are both stay at home wifes/moms. So are you and your best friends from Pre-School/Kindergarden still friends and in touch with each other?

Memories are our most treasured things in life. It is good you have them and keep them close to your heart. Thanks for sharing.

That's an awesome friendship you have! And even better that you both caught a couple of doctors! Woohoooo! Good for you and her! I don't remember my pre-school friends...but I have kept in touch with a group of girls I've known since I was 13 years old. They are like my sisters and we keep in touch with eachother often. that's nice...too bad I couldnt pack them up with me when I moved!!!

lol well your husbands are certainly accommodating. Well my friends in Pre-School if I see her know I will not know her. But it is good that you are still friends and that your relationship is a healthy one.

No, all of my friends went away from my life. No, they didn't go away purposefull but I allowed them to go away, I didn't bind a string with them so that we could stay connected. I had many good friends at school but most of them went to another city for study because they all were bright students and those who were living in my city, I didn't give attention to those because I went into some dirty habits and didn't want to hear a yell from them. So, now I am friendless!

Well, its kind of funny. I recently got in touch with my best friend from childhood. When I was born my mom's nextdoor neighbor had a daughter the same week, and she and I grew up together. It was nice, having a built-in playmate all my life, although we did bicker and fight, we grew up as close as sisters. We were friends until I moved away at 14. Sadly, we did not keep in touch for long. It was harder to keep in touch back then (20 yrs ago) because long distance phone bills were very expensive and also there was no internet, we had to write letters through the post office, which was time consuming and not as easily accessible. So we lost touch. But then, about three years ago, my friend looked me up online and we got to be friends again. She and I have hung out twice (she lives four hours away) and we write back and forth. It was kind of weird, hearing from her, as I never thought I would. The internet, especially facebook now, really makes it easy to connect with people from your past.
