i had posted about my pets needing a dental cleaning but i was worried about the risks of being put under.. the next day i find a lump on my dog and now she is having to have surgery tues
so i am taking everyones advice and waiting till she had to go under for another reason to get her teeth cleaned.. just didnt think it would be so soon
do you ever post asking about a situation or something just to find it happening to you a few days later?? do you feel you jinxed yourself by posting about it? this has happened to me a few times but of course i cant remember the other times now lol

Oh no! I'm sorry you found a lump on your dog - glad you are having it looked and and will be keeping you in my thoughts with hopes that its nothing serious.
The only time my dogs have been put under that I know of are for things like spaying, neutering (for my younger two)
As for my old guy (18 yr old cockerspaniel) he was put under twice - once for a porquipine quill removal (there were hundreds) and the second time was after he took on a bear protecting our sheep he had a tube put in and had to have stitches and major antibiotics. That was also the only time he bit any of the kids he was around - my sister touched him and we didnt know he was hurt he bit her as a warning and didnt leave a mark but her hand came away covered in his blood and she was crying and we rushed him to the vet - crying more because of the blood than because he bit. She said she woulda bit too if she had gotten touched when she was that hurt.

My little dog looked terrified when i dropped her off - pretty dopey when i picked her up. She HATES visiting the vet (hes really nice eye candy though!) so i ususally have her over at moms when hes over for a house call for the cows and we dont have to do the office visits.
