Does your girlfriend, boyfriend, significant other, etc... get mad when you are online? Do they make faces when you get on your mylot to respond to discussions? Do they get mad when you get on your myspace to play your mobsters? LOL Mine does. She makes faces at me the whole time and then...she will ignore me. LOL I just laugh cause it's funny to me. It's not like I am doing anything wrong, I get on mylot and drop some discussions, or make sure I leave some posts. Get on my myspace and check out my mobsters. Let me know what you think?

My husband does get mad if I am online. Even when I am doing work on the computer, he doesn't like it. And he shows his irritation. So, I avoid using the computer when he is around....if I can help it. Unless it is an urgent something about work that I need to do immediately, I avoid the computer when he is at home.

I wish it was that easy for me. My partner doesn't work and doesn't go out very often. So she is always around when I am online. I don't mind it, just don't like that she gets mad at me. The only thing she doesn't care about it when I am doing homework. But everything else she makes faces.

No, my husband has gotten used to the fact that I have particular things I need to do online sometimes. Most of the time I do it whenever he isn't home, and when he is home I try to stay off the computer as much as possible. But doing my Mylotting and other online things is part of my morning routine. I wake up, get my coffee, and get on the computer. I don't like when he's hanging near me while I'm online, so I shoo him away so I can do my stuff in peace. I've been known to send him into work early just so I can do my computer stuff in peace.

Good for you girl!!! If I shooed my partner away she would definitely think that i was doing something wrong. LOL I don't chat or anything with people. All my emails are from school or my stepmom and the ONLY thing I do on my myspace is mobsters and then I get off.

No, you don't want to shoo her then! I wouldn't let my husband shoo me either, otherwise I'd think he was up to something too. He usually only gets on Facebook and plays Mob Wars. He doesn't even have an e-mail address anymore, he does everything through Facebook these days. But I still don't want him to shoo me when he's online.

Yea she doesn't let me see any of her stuff but I have kind of just started dealing with it. The way I look at it is if she is going to do it she is going to do it...lol So if she feels she needs to hide it eventually I will find out.

Hi, prncesfrmheaven! No, he does not get mad. He is usually asleep or gone when I am at myLot. And if he is mad, he sure does not show it. If he would get mad, I will still post here as much as I can. I don't pay his actions any attention. Besides he knows that I am always here. I guess he dosen't really care what I am doing. He used to tell me that I won't make any money on the computer. I have proven him wrong each and everytime that I went to my bank to withdraw money out of the ATM machine. I hope that he does not get mad, it would be no reason for him to be mad. He knows that I love him! I wished your girl would not get mad.

LOL I guess once she starts seeing that I am actually making some money it will be different. It's taking forever for that to happen though so I guess we will have to wait and see.

No, in fact we do have our own different social networking sites. I do have friendster, hi-5, myspace, orkut and so much more. While on him, he has an account on Orkut and Wayne. He does know what i post here on Mylot but he does not interfere or refrain me from participating. I guess we just need to trust each other and that's important in a relationship. About the faces that your girl makes, well sometimes i do something but not a funny face but a funny tone like a sarcastic word like "Ahaaaa!" But we do laugh at each other and hug, no malicious thinking.

Hi prncesfrmheaven, I am fortunate because my significant other is online as much as I am. We each have our own PC so this is not a problem for us. I think that a person who gets upset beause the other is online, should be happy that they are at home, not out running around. Instead of getting mad they should take an interest in what you are doing and then they would understand why you do what you do. Couples need to communicate and come to a compromise over issues that they are having. If both people would show an interest in what the other is doing, this will result in less fights and more understanding. Which makes for a better relationship.

I agree 100%. There are things that she does online that I don't agree with but I don't say anything. I just smile and ignore it.

LOL That's what I do as well. I know I am going to do it anyway so I just let her make faces. She knows she can read anything she wants to and actually has all of my logins and passwords.

I don't get on the computer when my husband is home. I would rather spend time with him than be on the computer. When he goes to work is when I get on the computer or if he is sleeping. When he takes his nap or if I can't sleep than I come and get on the computer. My husband is too important to me to let something else come before he does.

That is very sweet. I would probably be that way if my partner was ever away from the house. I would spend time with her when she is home and be on the comp doing this or homework when she was away but she doesn't work so we are together all the time.

My fiance doesn't. He knows this is the way were making money. I guess he does make faces when it's early in the morning but even then they aren't offensive just annoyed. As for myspace, no he doesn't, he knows I check that periodically sometimes more then others but always every day, or atleast almost always.

Yes he does! My boyfriend does the same thing. Some days he's worse than others, it just depends on how much attention he wants. He doesn't have the same affinity for the computer as I do, he's more of a TV guy. When he's too engulfed with a TV show, I make fun of him, and when I'm too into myLotting, he'll make fun of me. It's all very innocent, but sometimes I wish my online earnings didn't make him complain!

My girlfriend gets on the computer too. But she is more of a text person. She will sit and text all day long but gets mad at me for the computer. LOL
