Do You Think Toronto Will Ever Make It Into The World Series Again?

Those couple of years in the early 90s when the Toronto Bluejays made it were wonderful!!!! I am not really into sports, and usually coudln't care less about baseball, but this was TORONTO, my home team (well I live in Guelph about an hour away, but that's as close to a hometeam in the majors as we'll get). They played Minesota one year, and I can't remember who they played the next, but they won both years in a row. My Dad and I watched the games both times. I was in grade 5 that year (10 years old), and my teacher HATES the Blue Jays. I don't understand why, but he HATED the Blue Jays with a passion. In all honesty I hated that teacher (for plenty of other valid reasons), so it was FUN to rub it in everytime the Jays won a game. LOL Anyone out there hope or think they'll get into the Series again some day?

It is possible but no one really knows for sure. I ask that question all the time about the Indians and not only making it but winning it. Anything less a championship is just not enough. We'll have to see what happens as the season progresses.

The Toronto Blue Jays have been playing just incredible lately. They are in first place in a comfortable lead in the hardest division in all of baseball, the AL East. If they can keep it up, they will have a great chance in the playoffs and could definately reach the World Series again.

Actually I really am not a fan of watching the games on tv but I have to since my boyfriend is the biggest Toronto Blue Jays fan ever. If they keep on playing the way the have so far this season they are a shoo in. But of course it is just the beginning of the season so anything can happen! We just hope for the best and maybe we will get to another game this year. We went last year and it was awesome.

Not a chance. Canadians need to stick to hockey.

Well I am still waiting for my beloved Baltimore Orioles to make it back and it doesn't look like anytime soon. As of right now I believe that Toronto has the best batting average in the majors right now and atop the AL East. With teams like Florida and Cleveland and Boston making it there I am sure there is room for the rest of us! Thanks Zelo

I really do not know a whole lot about it since I am in the states and have not kept up with it recently. I think there is a good possibility though.

I don't know if they will or not. I am a huge Texas Rangers fan! We start out the year every spring doing so well. I mean, last year, our big hitter made history during the home run derby! But then it seems like every year after the all-star break, we just seem to fall apart, and are never in position for the play offs.

Hello Doll I always think that anything can happen So it is entirely possible that they make it into the World Series again. I don't follow ball sports so it doesn't matter to me but for your sake I'll cheer them on. oxoxxoxoxo

I just wanna say that it is a new season and anything is possible. Secondly, the pitching staff this year is not as bad as everyone says it is, it is a young pitching staff. Last year seamed to be a slump all-around, but this year I see the bats coming around with the helping of 1B Kevin Millar who has won a world series. I think that the Jays will have a 85+ win season and will hopefully win the wildcard. After that who knows where the season will take us.

I hope they do win the big one again. I would also like to see more Canadian teams in the MLB. I know they lost Montreal, but maybe Vancouver and one other team could come up. I would also like to see Mexico get into MLB.
