Does Anyone Here Like Danish Esrom Cheese?

Esrom is definitely an aquired taste. In all honesty, the cheese smells like a pair of old gym socks, but boy does it ever taste good!!! Because it tastes so good, I'm actually getting to like the way it smells. LOL My husband and I love Esrom, on sandwiches, on crackers (like we had tonight), on it's own, and even in pasta sauces. Yummy! Anyone else on here enjoy this wonderful Danish treat?

I have never tried this cheese, but I think I know where I can buy some. I bet I would like it. I usually like unusual cheeses.

Hello Doll I've not tried it so I can not give an opinion. I don't really like strong heavy cheese so I would most likely pass on this one. I would gag at the smell..lol Enjoy it Sweets xoxoxoxoxoxo

LOL @ old gym socks no,i can't say i'd heard of it. sounds almost like goat cheese in a way.that can be smelly too,but it's good.
