What do these people/organization have in common?
You got it right. Yes. They use twitter.
Twitter.com is a a free social messaging. It gives you 140 characters to say about what's happening about you lately. It is one way of updating people about your latest activities. The messages you create in tweeter is called "TWEETS" Isn't it cute huh? HEHE
You can update your twitter account via web, wap, and even through SMS. So not updating it is never an excuse, well unless laziness strikes or the lack of idea thereof. 
I just used twitter lately and I must say that I never fail to update it whenever I'm online. I am enjoying updating myself in the web. It is like a blog wherein you can say something you feel in a limited 140 characters. Its kinda challenging and fun at the same time. It is addicting in a good way. If you always wanted to express something, go ahead and make your tweet. I am sure it'll make you feel better. 
Trust me on this, I am a testament to that. :)

Twitter is a blog/status update community not like facebook all spam/application invite community and you are not friend with anyone. You just follow people to receive their updates and often they follow you back.

I do not use twitter. I have friends who use twitter and just got somthing from some chick that I dont know wanting to keep up with me on there. I have thought about signing up but it doesnt sound veary intresting to me. Mabey Id have to try to to really understand it..Curiosity is really getting the best of me haha

am afraid i am not aware of this site. it looks like a combination of a messenger and a social networking website. that's cool maybe i should register and try maybe i might find some of my old friends and exe's. but i would simple focus on mylot since people there are more focus on chatting with each other.

Yeah it kinda resemble a messenger in some ways. It's really cool you must try it! Update your twitter friends every once in a while.

Hi, thanks for giving all the relevant details about twitter. I am a member and have used it without really going deep into its uses. I must go through it properly and use it as it is meant to be used...It is good to post about your online activites like reviews and articles..

You're all welcome. Yeah, posting your online activities in twitter via link is a nice way to keep the people informed. I guess this is the one that the news agencies are doing to keep the people updated. :)

I'm a twitter addict also. I've been on the site for maybe a month or two and I sometimes update 10 times a day. lol. Other days I don't have much to say.
One of my favorite things about Twitter is that it humanizes celebrities. You hear about the mundane things they do. Makes you realize they put their pants on one leg at a time just like we do. Of course, when Ashton (@aplusk) and Demi (@mrskutcher) twitter about three month vacations and stuff I get a little jealous. lol. And watching fights between celebs is hilarious. Like Jimmy Fallon's fued with the pizza place and Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson break up and actually Tweet about it. There's not much celebrities do that is funnier or wierder.

OH YEAH! All the buzz and fuzz in twitter makes it more interesting. You even get to hear the latest intrigues and latest scoops about your fave artists, what is more cooler than that?! All you need to do is tweet and let the people do their tweets and voila! you are updated instantly. Make me spell twitter, and I'll say L-O-V-E.

yeah..and i am addicted to it..i also follow TomFelton and know what he's doing everyday and single minute..so unbelievable to know what famous person do everyday..plus this twitter also can introduce you to new friend..it's really great..you make new friend every single day..huhu

It really bugs us before to know what these famous people does, but now that twitter is here and these people are members of it, there are no more problem because we get to see a part of their life everyday. I know right! Its very addicting. HAHAH and yes, you get to know friends globally, just like here in mylot.

well, you got to think of it as boring because you compare it to the tweets of the celebs. remember that we are all different in our own little ways. What may seem boring to you may be a source of inspiration to others so stay positive and keep on sending those tweets!

yes. I think it is last week when ashton kutcher dared to outnumber CNN (the number one in twitter to have the most followers) that he can beat it and have 1million followers and he won there. Twitter is the "in" social network now. Its getting spaces in many newspapers and I am kinda shocked with this, I dont know that it'll be that popular hahaha Yep its for free. Just go to twitter.com and register.

Hmm. I feel you. But sometimes, I also post some tweets that I guess only I, myself can decipher. Now that is mysterious. :)

more fashionable? hmm maybe. it depends on the person looking at it. But if I may say, for me, its a simple and easy way to stay connected and updated with your friends, colleagues, family and even idols.
