I have recently purchased a very cute pet, yes a sugar glider and by the title you can say that I named it Pepper and he's a boy.*smiles* I had certain doubts before finally saying "yes, i would like to have a sugar glider". I first did dozens of researches about how to take care of them, their behavior and certain problems that may come my way. I did this for two months and finally gave in to its cuteness. So now i have my beloved sugar glider. Well, before ever buying a pet. Please do research first. Its for your future pet's sake and yours as well. Don't you agree?

Congratz! I've always wanted a sugar guilder. They're so cute, but it's too much work for me at the moment. Yes, I agree you must do research before buying any type of animal.

Also, I forgot, you must research these because they could be illegal in your state.

Yes, sugar gliders are a big responsibility. My stepson works at a pet store and gave us a female. We named her Sasha. Then he brought over a male to breed her. So far, no luck and he hasn't come back to pick him up yet. So, I gave him a name also. Lunar. They have a certain smell and I find that I have to clean out their cage daily in order to keep them in my house. Feeding them is not too bad and pretty inexpensive. Usually I give them their glider formula, grapes, sweet potatoes or blueberries, sometimes a scrambled egg, and occasionally a half an almond for each of them. Sometimes they will bark at night too. The last time this happened I had forgotten to put their running wheel back in their cage after I cleaned it and they were bored. I had set it next to their cage so they could see it, but they couldn't get to it. I'll not repeat that mistake again. Lol!!
