I'm using eScan corporate edition as my antivirus. I choose this coz it's engine is powered by Kaspersky and it only eats few of my computer resources. This version that I have actually can work even with Pentium 2 computers so you can imagine how low it eats on a computer resource.. Since I used it, I never had troubles with my computer mostly with viruses. I often scan and it manage to delete or disinfects the intrusions and viruses on my computer. So what's yours? and why?

I was using avira antivir antivirus software. It was a free version. It has a gurad for protection and it protected me for around a year.Recently my motherboard went bad and i gave it for repair. They formatted the hard disk and put a free version of avg.I found it nice because it has a spyware remover also with it.Now i have no tension about the security of my computer.

NORTON. I've used that for many years. It is rated No.1 still, and had it highly recommended to me.

Yea, but I still let my husband mess with that stuff because I would really end up screwing something up.

I am using COMODO Internet Security, Avira Free Editio, Mcafee Enterprise 8.0.0 and USB Disk Security at the same time. Since I matched up with these kind of security in my windows xp professional service pack 2, I have never experience virus, malware, spyware and other harmful infections to my windows xp operating system. I am using 2 gigabytes ram ddr2 800 and AMD Athlon X2 to support my security applications and programs. I also use Winutilities, TuneUp-Utiltites, Ashampoo Optimizer, Advance System Care 3 and ATF CLeaner for maintenance to my windows operating system.

i`m using Nod32 from Eset for almost a year now, i use it mainly because it is the most light AV i have ever tried , resources wise, it does not hog the pc usage or slows down the working process, its great, powerful, and updates almost twice a week, but, that`s my opinion, and you ??

Back when my fairy godmother gave me my laptop, it had a free 3-month subscription on Windows Live OneCare. Right now though, I haven't had enough money to buy my laptop a new antivirus, so I'm on my way looking for one. I prefer Kaspersky though, because I've seen it work on my younger sister's laptop, and it's been better ever since.

I use Kaspersky antivius. It is the best Anti-virus these days. Unlike others Kaspersky does not consume a lot of resources and does not slow down the speed of the computer. It also scans web pages and has a phising alert. Ive never had trouble with this antivirus. The database of kaspersky also updates everyday and sometimes even after a few hours, this ensures that I am secured from new treaths all the time. I use kaspersky along with windows firewall and everything has been working really well so far Before this I tried many different antiviruses like norton, nod32 and Ashampoo antivirus. Norton slowed down my computer dramatically and consumed a lot of resources. My compueter use to freeze for no reason and internet speed was affected. Nod32 and Ashampoo were decent but could not detect malware, spyware etc like kaspersky.

I'm using bit defender. It is very reliable that until now I don't have problems with virus. Never did I format my laptop. Unlike Norton I even format my computer because of a virus cannot be cured by Norton, I forgot the name of the virus though

Actually i really trust the Kaspersky Anti - Virus and I'm using this at home. This kind of Anti - Virus really works and very updated. very awake, when kaspersky feels that a page of the website and your downloads has a virus that goes through your computer. for me this is very excellent anti-virus product.

The Anti-Virus program that I installed in my computer is AVG AntiVirus. The main reason? Because it's FREE! I truly trust the AVG product because it protects the computer and it's not consuming much memory space. Unlike Norton wherein it really slows down my system.

I used to use McAfee, but when my subscription expired, my brother-in-law introduced me to Avast, the Home Edition. McAfee was good, but Avast is free and it has really good reviews and ratings on download.com. It has already blocked several viruses for me and I've only had it for two weeks...so far so good.

i now use kaspersky, and i have try many other antivirus before, but they can not protect my computer from virus effectively, and that make me restore my computer several times.afer using kaspersky,it would aware me virus when i browse website.and from that on,my computer function well without being infected. But there is a little problem,it may prevent me from installing some software.so sometimes i have to shut down it,so that i can install the software which i want.

hi paoxav ! :D Before I used AVG, Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky. None of them satisfied me... But IMO, i dont trust that much on a single anti-virus because some virus are detected on certain antivirus while others dont. Currently, I'm using Avira Antivir Home, doesn't eat that much of my computer's resources unlike norton and kaspersky which really slowed down my computer ._.'' and so far my computer's healthy up to date :) happy mylotting!

I use avg. For one main reason, its free. I don't need to buy any high end Anti Virus because I don't think i'm exposing myself to too much threat online.

I haven't use an antivirus from a long time as they seem a crap. But if you want to try them I have a suggestion for you never use nortan antivirus. It will just eat up your computer resources and your computer will run at a snails pace. You can use Avast as it is free for personal use and provides good protection . Avg is also a great option. I can't understand that why some people but costly antivirus software when tons of free software are available?
