There was the summit and the big European tour. Then he was in Cuba and now Iowa. He signed his big stimulus bill in another state. So is the President ever actually in the White House for more than a day or two?

Maybe you're just not use to it since our last president spent all of his time at the White House LOL

Actually he spent ALOT of time at camp david or on his ranch. People criticized him for "working" at his ranch or camp david so often. But he said it liked it better because their was more privacy. On his ranch and at camp david you can actually take a walk and other normal things. Not that I am taking up for him. I still think he was a crummy president. But he did not spend a lot of time at the white house.

I was trying to be nice lil, Bush traveled less than any president I can remember. He didn't seem at all concerned about relationships with other countries.

MOst presidents travel alot. It is part of the job. Plus right now there are more international meetings due to the global economic crisis so he is having to spend more time than most traveling.

I like having a mobile, young president who gets around. Hopefully, he'll do a better job of representing us to the world's people than the last one did.

Yeah hes actually there at times. When my mom was younger she went on a tour with her school to Washington D.C. and got a tour with her class in some places in the White House. The person that was showing them around said the President was there at the time but she didn't see him as some parts are of course off limits.

Your lucky to have a President now who cares about the poor, unlike the greedy swine who run my country who just enrich themselves and their rich friends.

That poor man is never going to have a normal home life again. With any luck his wife and children will have the opportunity to travel with him on occasion so they can at least have some semblance of family time.
