Prepare a delicious dinner by myself is my dream. However, I am not that good at cooking. But, I think that cooking for the one you love is so great. Whether your dinner is nice or not is not important. I just enjoy the process to convey my feelings.

I really like cooking for my family. I like making nice dinners or lots of new things to try (although I am VERY picky). I just refuse to cook for myself. When I am home alone I tend to eat junk or very minimal as I don't have the energy to prepare a bunch of food for myself. And I really don't eat that much anyways. If it is just for myself then it would take me longer to prepare it then I would spend time enjoying. When I cook for my family I know they appreciate it and it was time well spent. Happy Mylotting. :)

Cooking at home is lots of fun and can actually save you some money if you shop carefully. I like to make larger batches of certain recipes and freeze portions for microwaving at a later date. I have tons of cookbooks, many of which I found at thrift shops for cheap. The Food Channel is also a great source for recipes and cooking instructions/tips. Many community colleges also offer cooking classes.
